The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Partridge tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rhodes swivels and escapes.
Rhodes looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Partridge shoots in but no luck this time.
Partridge changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rhodes tries to avoid it but Partridge manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rhodes to the ground. Rhodes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Owens turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Bada off and cradles Owens's limp body as Bada celebrates with his corner.
