 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jerome lands a head kick!
Krull tries to clinch there but Jerome circles away.
Krull drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Krull postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Krull wanted to stand there but Jerome had control of the position. Krull connects with a couple of short punches. Krull trying to control but Jerome is working from the bottom.
Jerome working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Krull doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Krull manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jerome keeping moving, preventing Krull from controlling successfully.

Jerome is working an open guard so Krull takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Krull tries to clinch but Jerome moves out of range. Krull shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jerome as he avoids it easily. Jerome shoots in but Krull avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jerome looks gassed! The fight stays on the outside here - Jerome looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Krull working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Krull has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jerome escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Krull gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jerome thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Krull won't allow Jerome to sweep him here. Krull landing some decent shots from guard. Krull wants to control from the top but Jerome keeps moving.
Krull stands and steps away. Jerome gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Don Krull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krull shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jerome as he avoids it easily. Krull dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jerome. That did some damage! This has been an exciting period of action! Krull fails to land with a series of punches.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jerome is looking to clinch. Jerome is looking to clinch. Jerome lands a head kick. Krull smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
 Krull is rocked! Jerome blocks a head kick by Krull.
Oh Krull is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Krull looks to land a body kick but Jerome moved away. Jerome fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Jerome. No joy for Krull on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Krull. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Krull fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jerome sprawls well initially but Krull persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jerome works his way to full guard. Good work. Krull pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jerome is keeping the position for now.
Jerome has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Krull can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Krull seems to have got his legs back now.
Krull decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jerome tries to close the distance and clinch up but Krull swats him away and circles back towards the center. Krull looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jerome is fending him off so far but Krull persists. Nope, Jerome circles away and we're back to standing.
Jerome looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Krull! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Krull is in all sorts of trouble here.

Krull somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Krull throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Krull looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Krull is tying to control. Jerome wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jerome is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Krull pulls his head out easily. Jerome is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Krull tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jerome controls his leg.
Jerome actively working from the bottom here. Krull is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Don Krull will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Krull will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jerome throws a sloppy head kick and Krull moves out of range easily. Jerome tries to land a front kick but Krull steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Jerome circles away from the clinch attempt.
Krull misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Krull counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Ground and pound from Krull. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jerome wants to get back to full guard. Krull uses his free foot to push down on Jerome's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jerome. Jerome really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Krull tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Jerome. Jerome tries to roll over but Krull keeps him under control. Jerome is in trouble now - Krull has advanced to mount!
Krull is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Jerome is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Jerome flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Krull anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Jerome and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Krull slips an arm under Jerome chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Krull has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Krull is squeezing on Jerome like an anaconda would it's prey. Jerome fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Sontag shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Bradshaw keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Harley wants to control but Scott postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Harley is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Scott asserts his dominance and retains side control. Scott could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Harley has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Harley is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Harley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Scott will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Scott circles away from the clinch attempt and Scott counters with a left and a right that stings Harley. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Scott. Harley misses with a few strikes there.

Scott tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Scott darts in trying to clinch and Harley counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Scott has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Dooog Partaaay showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dooog Partaaay's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
