Olympus tries to close the distance and clinch but Akiyama swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Akiyama's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Akiyama duly obliges.

The fight stays on the outside here - Olympus looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Akiyama scores with a one two! Olympus had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Akiyama closes the distance and clinches. Akiyama on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Olympus is trying to force a seperation but Akiyama has the dominant position. Olympus has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Olympus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Olympus clinches but Akiyama breaks the clinch and Akiyama counters with a lovely straight right hand! Olympus closes the distance looking to clinch and Akiyama counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Akiyama forces Olympus back against the cage and clinches. Olympus missing with knees to the body.
A nice left hand lands by Akiyama.

Joe shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Manevski's guard. Joe loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Manevski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Joe manages to get himself to full guard.
Joe wants to stand and escape but Manevski is having none of it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Joe is on top in guard.
Manevski not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Manevski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Joe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Manevski throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Joe landing with the ground and pound. Joe chips away with some ground and pound. Joe trying to control the position from guard on top but Manevski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Joe missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Manevski tries to free his leg and advance position but Joe is retaining full guard. Joe is trying to control the position but Manevski postures up.

Joe keeping moving, preventing Manevski from controlling successfully. Manevski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Manevski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Joe has control of Manevski's left arm, preventing Manevski from doing any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Joe is on top in guard.

Joe pulls Manevski in close to his closed guard and prevents Manevski from doing any damage or advancing position. Joe has momentary wrist control but Manevski slips an elbow through the middle. Manevski throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Joe works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Samoa Joe dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Goran Manevski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rai uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Patenza.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rai has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rai and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Sarai avoids a punch combination nicely.
Alpa Chino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sarai shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chino defends it nicely. Chino leaves Sarai with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Alpa Chino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stephen Sarai. Sarai slips a jab and a cross from Chino.
Sarai takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sarai fails with a takedown attempt. Sarai keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Sarai shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chino but Chino pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sarai looks gassed! Sarai slips a jab and a cross from Chino.
Chino stuffs the takedown attempt from Sarai. Sarai gets slowly back to his feet. Chino fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sarai looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Chino misses with a two punch combination.

Furlong displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Musa throws out the jab. Furlong takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Musa throws an overhand right that lands on Furlong's shoulder, as Furlong tries to avoid the shot. Furlong ducks under a wild hook from Musa. Musa tries to clinch but Furlong is having none of it. Musa has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Furlong shoots in but no luck this time. Musa getting the better of the striking in that exchange. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Musa is controlling an arm, preventing Furlong from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
