Bundy has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Emanuel is really squeezing tight and eventually Bundy passes out! Emanuel breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chuck Alkofer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
silva takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Rocha will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rocha goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Rocha fails to land with a series of punches.
Rocha throws a right hand that silva ducks under and follows up with a left that silva also avoids with ease.
Rocha throws a hook but silva blocks it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rocha.
silva dives in and grabs Rocha's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rocha pushes down on silva's head and hops out.
Rocha moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
silva swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Rocha scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
silva has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rocha finds it's way round the side to connect with silva's head.

Rocha lands a brutal uppercut that launches silva off his feet! silva tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nova bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Viking is not content to let Nova control the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Viking is trying to buck Nova off.
Viking is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Viking is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nova connects with a decent elbow.
Nova scores with a couple of short elbows.

Nova thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Viking is pushing Nova's head away, looking to escape. Nova manages to hold on to the position though.
Viking takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Viking is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Nova is controlling him well.
Nova looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Viking is avoiding damage well.
Viking is trying to get back to his feet.

Viking sneaks out the side door and pushes Nova away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Nova changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Viking tries to avoid it but Nova manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Viking to the ground. Viking escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nova throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Viking was covering up waiting for the punch and Nova finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Viking wriggles free and stands up.
Nova looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Viking defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nova.

Nova takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nova fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Viking avoids it really well and circles away.

It looks like Super Nova has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
No joy there for Viking, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Viking lands a left and a right that send Nova crashing to the mat, dazed. Viking thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Nova is rocked!
Nice sprawl there from Viking as Nova shoots in.
Horrible takedown by Nova or perhaps it was just good defense by Viking which made him look bad.
Super Nova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice cross by Viking.

This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nova is defended easily by Viking.
Viking lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Nova falls backwards - clearly groggy! Viking dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
