The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsi gets caught flat footed, as Quintana shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tsi has an active guard here but Quintana has managed to pass into half guard.
Quintana slows the pace down in half guard. Tsi looking for submissions off his back. Quintana is trying to work for a kimura but Tsi is defending well.
Quintana seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Tsi actively working from the bottom here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cirus misses with an uppercut. Desouza thows a body kick. Cirus tries to catch it but that hurt him. Cirus throws a body punch but Desouza moves out of range. Cirus fails to land with a series of punches.
Cirus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A jab from Desouza does it's job there. Cirus misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jab, jab by Cirus - just one landing. Cirus looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Desouza loads up on a big right hand but Cirus slips the punch. Cirus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Desouza looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Desouza sneaks back into half guard. Desouza is looking to escape. Cirus is looking for a kimura here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ben defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Moraes. Moraes showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from ben.
No luck for Moraes with that takedown attempt. No joy there for ben, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Moraes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. jorge ben has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Claude Moraes. ben lands a left and a right that send Moraes crashing to the mat, dazed. ben thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Claude Moraes has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Moraes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but ben swivels and escapes. ben looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A combination from ben does no damage. ben cracks Moraes with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. ben has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Moraes to stand back up!
Moraes is rocked! Moraes looks gassed! ben lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Moraes falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
