The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nott tries to clinch but Tahir is having none of it.
Nott stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nott wants it to stay on the feet.
Nott goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Tahir fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nott manages to avoid it.

Nott wants to clinch up but Tahir keeps it at a distance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Messi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. ROCK checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
ROCK shoots in for a takedown but Messi shows good takedown defense.
Some bone on bone action there as ROCK checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
ROCK misses with a takedown attempt - Messi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Messi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Messi shoots in and bounces ROCK off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Messi is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Messi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for ROCK on the ground.
