2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maggan Sors! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sors will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sors drops Lainen with a left and a right! Oh, Lainen is hurt - Sors dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Opa Lainen has been cut. Sors wants to stand but Lainen is controlling his arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lainen tries to buck Sors off but Sors is having none of it. Sors tries to stand but Lainen is controlling his head. Lainen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lainen is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Lainen tries to roll over but Sors keeps him under control. Lainen is breathing heavily. Sors wants to stand up but Lainen is controlling the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sors throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sors bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A left and a right from Sors both land. Nice combination.
Lainen is rocked! Sors lands with a nice combination. Lainen backs away looking to recover. Oh Lainen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A big right followed by a crushing left from Sors knocks Lainen out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cox looks to land a combination but Mannerheim avoids it well. Mannerheim changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cox looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Cox is looking for a sweep. Mannerheim misses with the ground and pound. Cox pushes Mannerheim away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mannerheim gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Cox sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Cox blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mannerheim. Cox is pressing down on Mannerheim's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Mannerheim preventing the sweep. Mannerheim wants to control from the top but Cox keeps moving. Mannerheim tries to free his leg and advance position but Cox is retaining full guard. Cox preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Mannerheim is breathing heavily. Cox is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mannerheim preventing the sweep.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mannerheim fails in his attempt to clinch. Cox throws a head kick but Mannerheim moves out of range.
Cox tries for a takedown but Mannerheim circles away easily and Mannerheim counters with a takedown into side control. Mannerheim working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Cox is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mannerheim has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mannerheim avoids the strikes from the bottom by Cox. Mannerheim is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Cox is trying to escape and Mannerheim transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Cox is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mannerheim! Very nice indeed!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! skillz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. skillz controlling the pace for now. skillz get's back to his feet. skillz lands with a kick to the temple. Spikes shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Spikes gets the takedown into side control. Spikes lands a few punches from side control. Spikes lands some shots froms side control. skillz manages to work his way to half guard, despite Spikes's best efforts. Spikes not doing much here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spikes wants to control but skillz is keeping him busy. skillz is trying to stand back up but Spikes is controlling him
Spikes frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. skillz is breathing heavily. skillz is trying to stand. Spikes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Spikes can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as skillz is looking to escape. Spikes stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Spikes misses with a body shot.
Both fighters circling a little - Spikes finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Spikes scores with a takedown into skillz's guard. Spikes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Spikes pushing down on skillz's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Spikes shoots in for a takedown but skillz shows good takedown defense. ray skillz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Spikes gets in close and instigates a clinch. Spikes digs a right hand into skillz's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on skillz's gas tank. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. skillz wants to take a breather but Spikes is having none of it. skillz uses his free foot to push down on Spikes's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Spikes. skillz gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Spikes circles away from the clinch attempt.

Spikes stopping the sweep attempt from skillz. skillz looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spikes stands and steps away. skillz gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. skillz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
skillz throws a head kick that misses. skillz shoots in for a double leg but Spikes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for ray skillz. That's going to take a lot out of him. skillz finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Spikes cracks skillz with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Spikes is looking to take this fight into the clinch. skillz keeps the fight on the outside. skillz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. skillz seems to be working for a kimura but Spikes defends the submission attempt. Spikes is doing well to avoid being mounted. No joy there for Spikes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Spikes misses with a takedown attempt - skillz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Spikes closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Spikes taking a break here but skillz is having none of it and regains half guard. Nice strikes from Spikes there. skillz wants to get back to his feet.

Spikes manages to capitalize on a mistake by skillz to take his back! You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Good control from Spikes. Spikes patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Spikes controlling the position well here. skillz rolled but Spikes kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Spikes gets his hands free as skillz looks to control. Spikes doesn't have the hooks in and skillz manages to turn into his guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. skillz wants to control but Spikes postures up. ray skillz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Spikes trying to control the position but skillz is working away.
And that's the end of the fight! Jordan Spikes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Spikes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drago cracks Karelin with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Alex Karelin has been cut. Karelin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Drago moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Drago lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Karelin can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Drago and Karelin drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Drago.

Fritz Haarmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marks moves in looking to clinch but Haarmann pushes him off. Haarmann fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Marks, pushing him back against the cage. Marks lands an elbow inside that Haarmann shrugs off. Marks tries a knee to the head but Haarmann blocks it.

Marks tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A head kick misses from Marks. Haarmann tries to bum rush Marks with a series of wild strikes but Marks uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Haarmann is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Marks. Haarmann throws a nice looking combination but Marks bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Marks wants to clinch up but Haarmann keeps it at a distance. Haarmann misses with a two punch combination.
Haarmann keeps the fight on the outside. Haarmann keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Haarmann . Marks wants to clinch and Haarmann counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Haarmann has Marks up against the cage in a clinch.

Marks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Haarmann falls off balance throwing a combination
