5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Teller Story! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baldoza throws a low kick but Story moves out of range easily. Baldoza throws a nice looking combination but Story bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Baldoza misses with a head kick.
Story fails with a takedown attempt. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Story crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Baldoza - the referee stops the clock and Story gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Baldoza. Story manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Story is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Baldoza finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Story looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Baldoza is fending him off so far but Story persists. Nope, Baldoza circles away and we're back to standing. A combination from Baldoza does no damage. Baldoza lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Story circles away quickly and effectively. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baldoza throws a leg kick but Story sees it coming and moves out of range. Baldoza tries a head kick but it misses.
Story has taken the fight to the clinch.
Baldoza wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Story has him pressed against the cage.

Story slips an arm under Baldoza chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Story has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Story is squeezing on Baldoza like an anaconda would it's prey. Baldoza fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva tries for a takedown but Pjiton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Pjiton fails with the takedown and Silva counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Pjiton is staying active underneath Silva, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Silva wants to work for an arm triangle but Pjiton is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Matson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cullen lands with an uppercut that bounces Turk off the cage and back into rage. Cullen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Casey Cullen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cullen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cullen misses with a body punch
and Turk counters with a stiff right hand. Cullen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Turk. Nice body punch from Cullen. Turk lands a nice looking body shot.
Turk connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Cullen misses with a body punch
and Turk counters with a series of strikes. Cullen will be more careful next time no doubt. A jab from Cullen misses. Cullen misses the body punch and Turk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cullen tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Turk counters with a left and a right that stings Cullen. Cullen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cullen clinches but Turk breaks the clinch and Turk counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Cullen wants to clinch and Turk makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Turk lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Turk. Cullen throws a combination that misses and Turk counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Turk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cullen. Cullen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Turk counters with a right hand to the body. Turk throws a shot from downtown. Cullen moves away and avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turk cracks Cullen with a right hand to the side of the head. Cullen looks to land a left hand but Turk moved out of range nicely. Turk throws a right and a left that both miss. Cullen tries to clinch up and Turk counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Cullen swings and misses with a shot to the body letting Turk counter with a right hand.
Cullen is rocked! Cullen loses concentration momentarily and Turk pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Cullen crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Turk finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
