Hardy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I shot the Sheriff. Ridley has chosen Don't Turn Off The Lights - Enrique Iglesias as his entrance music. Merv Ridley has the better chin. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ray Hardy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Merv Ridley! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardy scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Nice shot lands for Hardy. Hardy dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ridley. That did some damage! Ridley shoots in and bounces Hardy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ridley looking to pass the guard. Hardy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ridley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hardy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hardy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ridley is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ridley throwing strikes from guard but Hardy blocks nicely. Ridley tries to free his leg and advance position but Hardy is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ridley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Hardy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ridley shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hardy defends it nicely. Hardy scores with a jab to the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ridley shoots in but Hardy avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ridley looks gassed! Good standup being displayed there by Hardy as he connects with a hook. Ridley drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. A left lands for Hardy. Ridley swats away the attempt to clinch by Hardy. Hardy stuffs the takedown. Ray Hardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Merv Ridley. Ridley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hardy lands with an overhand left. Ray Hardy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd cheers as Hardy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ridley doesn't seem phased though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardy doesn't manage to clinch there - Ridley circles away.
Hardy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Hardy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ridley swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ridley takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Hardy with a body punch. A glancing blow. Hardy tries to clinch up. Good exchange - Hardy coming out on top. Hardy pushes Ridley up against the cage in a clinch. Hardy scores with a hook to the body. A knee to the head by Hardy.
It looks like Merv Ridley has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A nice glancing elbow lands by Hardy. Hardy scores with a shot to the side of Ridley's head. Hardy scores with a knee to the head.
Hardy displaying some good clinch control by pressing Ridley up against the cage. Hardy gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ridley takes a knee right on the jaw!
Ridley tries to pull guard but Hardy won't allow it.
Hardy working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Hardy lands with a light punch inside. Hardy lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Hardy obliges. Hardy lands a left hand.
A short left from Hardy. Hardy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ridleys head. Hardy putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Ridley in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hardy lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Ridley takes a shot to the head. Hardy will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ridley up against the cage. Hardy is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Hardy digs a right hand underneath Ridley's ribcage. Ridley let out a lung full of air as it connected. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Hardy dominated that round. The cut man is working on Merv Ridley's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ridley takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Hardy here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Ridley takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hardy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ridley gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ridley shoots in and drives through. Hardy sprawls well. Hardy circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Ridley drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Hardy follows Ridley to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! pickles tries to close the distance and clinch but Yuen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. No luck with that takedown attempt from pickles. Yuen dodges the punch combination from pickles.
pickles takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. pickles rushes Yuen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. pickles fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Yuen drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. pickles avoids the elbow strike from Yuen, against the cage.
Yuen lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. pickles has a couple of punches blocked by Yuen.

Yuen is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Yuen throws an elbow but it's blocked.
pickles lands a shoulder strike. Yuen lands a damaging elbow. pickles manages to pull guard.
Yuen wants to pass the guard but pickles is keeping the position. Yuen controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Yuen trying to control the position from guard on top but pickles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We're going to have a standup here because Sean Yuen wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. pickles is trying hard to land a takedown here. Yuen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. pickles gets tackled into the cage by Yuen. Yuen maintains the clinch. pickles lands a left hand.
pickles creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Yuen drops down looking for an ankle pick but pickles pulls his leg out and moves away.
pickles throws a wild combination but nothing lands. pickles shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sean Yuen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of mr pickles. Yuen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around pickles's waist but pickles gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yuen off to one side. Yuen has pickles up against the cage in a clinch.
Yuen pushes off an throws an elbow but pickles leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. pickles prevents the takedown attempt.
Yuen lands a knee to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yuen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but pickles pulls him back up using the underhooks. Yuen has pickles pushed against the cage. pickles doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

pickles drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Yuen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
pickles looks gassed! Yuen lands a nice knee to the body. pickles has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Yuen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Yuen is trying to maintain a safe position but pickles gets an underhook and turns Yuen into the cage. Yuen lands a good knee to the midsection. pickles won't want to take too many of those.

Yuen tries to land knees in the clinch but pickles avoids the damage to the body. Yuen lands with a left to the head. pickles lands a left hand that snaps the head of Yuen backwards. Yuen pushes pickles back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. pickles throws a head punch that misses. Yuen is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. pickles gets underhooks to prevent Yuen's takedown attempt.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as pickles walks away with a smile on his face. Yuen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. pickles darts in trying to clinch and Yuen counters with a nice body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yuen rushes pickles and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. pickles jumps guard but Yuen stands there with pickles around his waist. pickles gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
pickles has had enough of the clinch but Yuen keeps him there for the moment. pickles tries to break free but Yuen pushes him back against the cage. pickles tightens his grip and picks Yuen up, before dumping him to the ground. Yuen manages to land in guard. Yuen managing to control the position. Yuen has his foot on pickles's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. pickles works his way back into a safe position though. Yuen pulls pickles in close to prevent any damage. pickles throwing strikes but missing. Yuen has pickles pulled in close to control his posture. pickles postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Yuen dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Yuen keeps the fight on the outside. pickles misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Yuen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. pickles looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Yuen is fending him off so far but pickles persists. Nope, Yuen circles away and we're back to standing. pickles shoots in looking for a takedown but Yuen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing pickles's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sean Yuen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of mr pickles. Yuen scores with a jab to the head.
pickles walks into a stiff left hand from Yuen. pickles has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Yuen. Yuen getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Yuen stuns pickles with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. pickles tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Yuen moves into the clinch successfully.

Yuen lands an elbow that stopped pickles in his tracks for a moment. pickles is trying to break the clinch but Yuen is controlling him. Yuen content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Yuen creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through pickles's defenses. pickles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Yuen pushes pickles away with a front kick. pickles darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Yuen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as pickles backs up against the cage.

Yuen gets a trip takedown into half guard. Yuen with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yuen missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. pickles is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Yuen scores with a couple of nice shots. Yuen is keen to just control but pickles is a slippery customer. Yuen is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for pickles! pickles throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. pickles is looking to improve his position but Yuen isn't that keen on the idea. Yuen working for a guillotine from mount but pickles is in no mood to give up. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! pickles is desperately trying to improve his position but Yuen has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yuen raining down hammerfists from mount. Yuen in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The referee warns pickles that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
pickles is working to get back to half guard.
Yuen lands a big elbow. Yuen controlling the pace for now. pickles is in all sorts of trouble here.
Yuen cracks pickles with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Yuen with a couple of short strikes. Yuen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Yuen looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Yuen lands a nice shot to the head. pickles is in all sorts of trouble here.
Yuen lands with some strikes. Yuen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. pickles working to try and regain half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yuen controlling his opponent. Yuen trying to control but pickles is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters circling a little - Yuen finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Sean Yuen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. pickles takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Yuen scores with a shot to the body.

pickles looks to throw the jab but Yuen is out of range. pickles needs to keep his hands up - Yuen had a free shot at his head there. Yuen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches pickles napping and manages to drive through into side control! pickles is not content to let Yuen control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. pickles is being controlled here. Yuen has an Americana. pickles didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Yuen is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Yuen hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Tempest closes the distance and clinches up with Walker, looking for a takedown. Tempest pushes Walker against the cage but Walker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Walker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick misses from Walker. Walker throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Paul Tempest has been cut. Walker tries a head kick but it misses.
Tempest throws a head kick that misses and Walker makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Tempest really felt that one! Walker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tempest throws a sloppy head kick and Walker counters with a solid body kick. Tempest is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Walker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Good work by Walker as he checks the leg kick. Walker lands a big head kick that sends Tempest tumbling to the mat! Walker takes a step backwards and waves Tempest back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Tempest is rocked! Walker seems to be stalking Tempest here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Tempest drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Snyder seems a little lost for a moment, as Moore dominates the positioning. Moore trying to control the position but Snyder is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moore controlling the position from side mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Snyder is trying to get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Max Moore. Snyder lands a head kick. Moore smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Snyder throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Moore. Moore shoots in for a takedown but Snyder shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Andrew Snyder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snyder lands with a thumping leg kick.

Moore shoots in looking for a takedown. Snyder tries to sprawl out of it but Moore keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Snyder manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Moore shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Snyder as he avoids it easily. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Antunes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hague pinned against the cage. Hague gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The fighters circling - Hague throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hague moves in looking to clinch but Antunes pushes him off. Antunes shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Antunes was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Antunes scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Antunes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hague, who protects the arm well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Antunes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hague keeps working.
