1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brent Blackadder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Tempest! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tempest tries to clinch but Blackadder moves out of range. Blackadder keeps the fight on the outside. Tempest tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tempest throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tempest tries a head kick but it misses.
Tempest throws a leg kick but Blackadder checks it. Tempest fails to land the takedown. Tempest tries to clinch there but Blackadder circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tempest. Tempest pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blackadder blocks a head kick by Tempest.
Tempest misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Brent Blackadder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Tempest. Tempest shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blackadder as he jumps to the side. Paul Tempest seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blackadder shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Blackadder showed some decent athleticism there. Blackadder is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Blackadder seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Tempest is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Quinton Liddell! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nikita will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Liddell takes one to the chin there. Nikita misses with a jab, cross combination.
Daisuke Nikita seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Liddell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nikita. Liddell shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Liddell was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Nikita tries to hold on but Liddell postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nikita is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Nikita sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Nikita has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Liddell is working away from the top position though. Nikita blocking the ground and pound attempt from Liddell. Nikita works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nikita has momentary wrist control but Liddell slips an elbow through the middle. Liddell looking to sit in guard and control but Nikita gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Liddell can do anything to dispel that myth. Liddell looks gassed! Nikita stopping the sweep attempt from Liddell. Nikita content to stall in guard here. Nikita stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nikita leaves Liddell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Nikita misses with a wild combination.
Liddell throws the kick towards the body but Nikita avoids it. Liddell fails with a takedown attempt. Nikita keeps Liddell at a distance using the push kick. Nikita feints a jab promting Liddell to slip. Nikita then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Liddell slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Nikita rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Liddell moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A punch combination from Nikita misses. Liddell takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Nikita tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Liddell paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nikita pushes Liddell up against the cage in a clinch. Nikita working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Nikita pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nikita misses with a series of wild punches.

Nikita fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Nikita stalks Liddell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Liddell's face. Liddell staggers backwards, shaken. Nikita fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Liddell thows a body shot but no joy. Some wild striking there from Nikita.
Nikita looks to land a combination but Liddell avoids it well. Liddell misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Daisuke Nikita has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quinton Liddell. Liddell avoids the head kick by Nikita.
Nikita tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nikita shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nikita was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Daisuke Nikita dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Liddell throws a series of punches but Nikita avoids them all with ease. Nikita looks for the body kick but Liddell saw that one coming. Nikita dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Liddell. That did some damage! Nikita misses with a two punch combination.
Daisuke Nikita is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nikita darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Nikita not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nikita throwing shots but Liddell is blocking nicely. Nikita has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Liddell trying to control here.

Nikita content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Daisuke Nikita wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Liddell slips a jab and a cross from Nikita.

Nikita shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Liddell pinned against the cage. Liddell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Liddell tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smirnoff throws a lazy right hand but Buckner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Buckner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smirnoff.
Smirnoff feints a jab promting Buckner to slip. Smirnoff then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Buckner slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Matt Buckner has been cut. An inside leg kick from Buckner misses. Smirnoff lands a big head kick that sends Buckner tumbling to the mat! Smirnoff takes a step backwards and waves Buckner back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Buckner is rocked! Buckner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smirnoff was well out of range. Poor timing from Buckner. Oh Buckner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Smirnoff lunges at Buckner with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Buckner's hand. Buckner swats away the attempt to clinch by Smirnoff. Smirnoff connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Buckner momentarily.
Smirnoff throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Smirnoff rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Buckner moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nice cross by Buckner. Smirnoff throws a head kick that misses. Smirnoff moves in looking to clinch but Buckner pushes him off. Buckner seems to have got his legs back now. Smirnoff throws a head kick that misses. Smirnoff tries to clinch up. Smirnoff throws a head kick that misses. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Buckner, right into the meat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! An inside leg kick lands from Buckner. Buckner throws a one two combo.

Smirnoff on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A punch lands to the side of Smirnoff 's head but he takes it in his stride. A chopping leg kick lands by Buckner. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A jab lands there for Buckner. Buckner connects with a body shot that sends Smirnoff's belly button to the back. Buckner stuns Smirnoff with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Vitaly Smirnoff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Buckner lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Buckner Rushes Smirnoff and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Smirnoff is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Buckner Piles on the pressure and Smirnoff crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

kanavanah keeps control of Lambert as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Lambert is trying to push kanavanah away but kanavanah has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Lambert tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. kanavanah just stands there and leans against the cage. Lambert tries to break free but kanavanah pushes him back against the cage. kanavanah unloads a knee to the mid-section. A frustrated look appears on kanavanah's face as he tries to break the clinch. kanavanah is trying to drag Lambert to the mat but Lambert just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Lambert wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Lambert wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but kanavanah has him pressed against the cage. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conroy shoots in and drives through. Hardy sprawls well. Hardy tries to close the distance and clinch but Conroy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hardy with a jab. Hardy has managed to clinch.
Hardy gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Hardy lands a body punch. Hardy lands a left hand that snaps the head of Conroy backwards. Hardy lands a left hand that snaps the head of Conroy backwards. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hardy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Hardy stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
