The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Insano tries a head kick but it misses.
Insano lands with a thumping leg kick.
Insano tries to work over Richards's front leg with a kick but Richards checks it. Richards blocks a head kick by Insano.
Insano thuds his shin into the meat of Richards's side. Insano tries to close the distance and clinch but Richards swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Insano tries to clinch up but Richards circles away and keeps his distance. Richards avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Request misses with a hook. Gman lands with a kick to the ribs.

Gman throws a half hearted mid kick. Request swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Request fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gman manages to avoid it. Request throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Request throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Gman misses with a body kick. Gman throws a head kick that misses. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Gman. Gari connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Monson shoots in and gets a takedown into Gari's guard. Monson preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gari is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Monson defends well. Morote Gari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Monson. Gari rushes Monson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ehm Aliaha! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aliaha ducks down and throws a hook to the body but LeMasters moves away. Horrible takedown by LeMasters or perhaps it was just good defense by Aliaha which made him look bad. A swing and a miss from Aliaha. A looping hook to the body misses from LeMasters. Aliaha does a little dance to reset his feet. A slow jab from LeMasters misses its intended target. LeMasters lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. LeMasters dives in and grabs Aliaha's left leg, looking for a takedown. Aliaha pushes down on LeMasters's head and hops out. Aliaha looks to land a left hand but LeMasters moved out of range nicely. LeMasters moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. LeMasters shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Aliaha napping and manages to drive through into side control! LeMasters tries to score with some ground and pound. Aliaha controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Aliaha is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Aliaha is trying to control LeMasters's posture but LeMasters avoids it. Aliaha tries to get back to half guard but can't. LeMasters prevents Aliaha from escaping the position. Aliaha defending against the ground and pound. Aliaha is trying to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. LeMasters working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A swing and a miss from LeMasters. LeMasters moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Aliaha has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Aliaha darts in and out, connecting with a jab. LeMasters throws a combination. Aliaha tries to block but a couple of punches get through. LeMasters takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Ehm Aliaha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Aliaha lands a lovely overhand right. Aliaha scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. LeMasters shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Aliaha's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Aliaha duly obliges. A telegraphed takedown attempt from LeMasters is defended easily by Aliaha. LeMasters throws an overhand right that lands on Aliaha's shoulder, as Aliaha tries to avoid the shot. Aliaha misses with a straight right. Ehm Aliaha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aliaha scores with a jab. LeMasters acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Aliaha jabbing away but nothing is landing. Aliaha thuds his right hand into LeMasters's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Aliaha throws a wild combination but nothing lands. LeMasters slips a jab from Aliaha. Aliaha throws a lazy right hand but LeMasters sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A punch combination from Aliaha misses. The fighters circling - Aliaha throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Aliaha misses with a straight right. LeMasters slips under a jab. Aliaha pushing out the jab but it's not landing. LeMasters has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. Aliaha is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. LeMasters has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Aliaha finds it's way round the side to connect with LeMasters's head. Aliaha throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Aliaha tests LeMasters's chin there with a solid looking shot. LeMasters moves out of range as Aliaha strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. LeMasters drops his hands momentarily and Aliaha takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. A left and a right from Aliaha both land. Nice combination.

Oh LeMasters is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Aliaha loads up on a big right hand but LeMasters slips the punch. LeMasters slips under a jab from Aliaha. LeMasters seems to have got his legs back now. A swing and a miss from Aliaha. LeMasters with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Aliaha to score with a decent uppercut. Aliaha throws out a loose jab but LeMasters uses good head movement to avoid it. LeMasters jabbing away but nothing is landing. A jab lands there for Aliaha. Aliaha cracks LeMasters with a good jab. Aliaha sizes up LeMasters with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Aliaha gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows LeMasters to score an easy takedown into full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Aliaha has LeMasters pulled in close to control his posture. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. LeMasters is looking to work some ground and pound but Aliaha has wrist control. LeMasters is fighting to break Aliaha's control of his arms but Aliaha is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aliaha lands the left hand. Aliaha lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. LeMasters looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. LeMasters fails with the takedown. Ehm Aliaha seems to be getting the better of the standup. Aliaha missing with a left hand there. LeMasters was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. LeMasters scores with the left hand. Aliaha knows he should have avoided that one. Good exchange - LeMasters coming out on top. LeMasters on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. and Aliaha makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Aliaha swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by LeMasters. A combination from Aliaha does no damage. LeMasters throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Aliaha sees it coming and avoids it easily. LeMasters tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Aliaha swivels and escapes. Aliaha uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from LeMasters. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Aliaha throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Aliaha connects with a good right hand that stumbles LeMasters. LeMasters circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Aliaha is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by LeMasters. LeMasters takes one on the chin but seems OK.

LeMasters looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Aliaha lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - LeMasters can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Aliaha and LeMasters drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Aliaha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell moves out of range of the body kick from Barry.
Barry shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Liddell lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Barry tries to close the distance and clinch but Liddell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Barry shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A nice leg kick lands there from Barry. Barry throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Barry lands with a thumping leg kick.

This has been an exciting period of action! Barry gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Liddell avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Barry connects with a solid leg kick. Barry throws a nice inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddell takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. A punch lands to the side of Barry 's head but he takes it in his stride. Nice body punch from Liddell. Barry moves in looking to clinch but Liddell pushes him off. A leg kick checked by Liddell. Liddell connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Barry's hands. Barry throws a leg kick but Liddell sees it coming and checks it nicely. Barry dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Liddell. That did some damage! Liddell just misses with a punch to the body.
Barry walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Liddell checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Liddell works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Liddell slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Barry turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Liddell blocks a leg kick. Barry tries to clinch but Liddell moves out of range. A chopping leg kick lands by Barry. A good leg kick by Barry. Liddell is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Barry, right into the meat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Liddell breaks the clinch.

Barry throws a nice inside leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Some bone on bone action there as Liddell checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Barry ducks under a wild hook from Liddell. Barry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Liddell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Good work by Liddell as he checks the leg kick. Liddell misses with a body shot.

Barry takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
