The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Donelly as Lightning shoots in. A combination from Donelly does no damage. Donelly scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Dean Lightning has been cut. Lightning takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Lightning shoots for a double leg takedown but Donelly sprawls well. He's pushed Lightning's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lightning looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dean Lightning. That's going to take a lot out of him. Donelly instigates a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Donelly's face as he tries to break the clinch. Donelly pulls guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Lightning won't allow Donelly to sweep him here. Donelly keeping moving, preventing Lightning from controlling successfully. Donelly wants to improve his position but instead Lightning has moved into half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nguyen fails in his attempt to clinch. Shine rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nguyen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shine is defended easily by Nguyen. Nguyen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nguyen has managed to clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Death stuffs the takedown attempt from Mageramsky. Mageramsky gets slowly back to his feet. Mageramsky works over Death's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Hades Death has been cut. Death loads up on a big right hand but Mageramsky slips the punch. Hades Death seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mageramsky shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Death defends it nicely. Death throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Mageramsky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Death throws out the jab. Mageramsky tries to close the distance and clinch up but Death swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mageramsky looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Mageramsky wants to control but Death is keeping him busy. Mageramsky missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Death wants to get back to his feet. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Srobud looking to ground and pound but Polatkan is blocking nicely. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Joe Henning has been cut. Snow bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Henning! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Henning is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Snow trying to stand up but can't free himself from Henning's guard. Oh Henning is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Henning pulls Snow in close to his closed guard and prevents Snow from doing any damage or advancing position. Henning seems to have got his legs back now. Snow would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Henning is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Henning throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Snow scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Snow tries to close the distance and clinch but Henning swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nice uppercut lands for Snow. That snapped Henning's head back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Snow lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Snow scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Snow dips to his left and cracks Henning with an uppercut! Snow thumps Henning with a low kick. Snow clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Henning jumps guard but Snow stands there with Henning around his waist. Henning gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Snow tries to break free but Henning pushes him back against the cage. Henning swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Snow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Henning is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Snow. Snow throws an overhand right that has Henning reeling! Snow follows up with more punches and Henning is out cold! This one is all over!

Masaki shoots in for a double leg but Noke sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Noke tries to clinch up but Masaki circles away and keeps his distance. Noke fails in his attempt to clinch. Noke avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Some bone on bone action there as Masaki checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Masaki dives in and grabs Noke's left leg, looking for a takedown. Noke pushes down on Masaki's head and hops out. Kyle Noke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yasegawa Masaki. Noke throws a head kick but Masaki moves out of range.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Noke lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Masaki has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Masaki and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Noke throws the kick towards the body but Masaki avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kyle Noke will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Yasegawa Masaki's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Noke scores with the left hand. Masaki knows he should have avoided that one. Masaki fails with a takedown attempt. Masaki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Noke as he jumps to the side. Noke finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Masaki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Noke sprawls well initially but Masaki persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Masaki is keen to just control but Noke is a slippery customer.

Masaki is trying to control the action in half guard but Noke is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Noke is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Masaki's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Masaki's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Masaki trying to control the action but Noke just sinks the hooks in. Masaki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Noke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Noke tries to get the hooks in deep but Masaki pushed the leg off. Noke throwing sloppy strikes. Masaki can't escape the position.

Nakamura is squeezing on Smith like an anaconda would it's prey. Smith fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Young Drizzle! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drizzle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rivers was well out of range. Poor timing from Drizzle. Drizzle moves out of range as Rivers strikes. Rivers leaves Drizzle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A slow jab from Drizzle misses its intended target. Drizzle dodges the punch combination from Rivers.
Rivers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Drizzle thows a body shot but no joy. Rivers misses with a wild combination.
Rivers tries to bum rush Drizzle with a series of wild strikes but Drizzle uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rivers lands with a hook. Drizzle tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Rivers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Drizzle circles away quickly and effectively. Drizzle misses the shot to the body. Rivers loads up on a big right hand but Drizzle slips the punch. Rivers throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Drizzle getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Nice shot lands for Drizzle. No joy there for Rivers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Rivers is keeping the position for now. Drizzle passes easily into side control. Nice work. Drizzle working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Drizzle thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Drizzle is trying to get an arm triangle but Rivers is defending well. Rivers tries to escape but Drizzle is in control. Drizzle tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Rivers is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Drizzle asserts his dominance and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Young Drizzle dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Drizzle counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rivers misses with a looping right. Rivers takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rivers paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Drizzle moves out of range of the strikes. Rivers gets caught flat footed, as Drizzle shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Drizzle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Rivers wants to stand up but Drizzle is controlling him. Drizzle drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rivers dives on top into guard. Rivers wanted to stand there but Drizzle had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drizzle throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Rivers escapes and throws Drizzle's legs to the side, diving into side control! Drizzle is breathing heavily. Rivers stands up and beckons Drizzle to his feet. Rivers on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Drizzle gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Drizzle goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Rivers lands a left and a right that send Drizzle crashing to the mat, dazed. Rivers thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Drizzle is rocked! Rivers steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Drizzle is out on his feet! Rivers sets himself and nearly takes Drizzle's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

It looks like Travis Turner has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Turner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Angel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Turner somewhat. Turner clinches up against the cage. Turner drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Turner has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Angel avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Criss Angel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Turner. Angel is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Turner misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Angel.

Turner tries to clinch there but Angel circles away.
Angel lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Angel lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Angel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Turner doesn't seem bothered though. Angel will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
