The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tong closes the distance and clinches up with Salakka, looking for a takedown. Tong pushes Salakka against the cage but Salakka circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Salakka is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
