The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alzado closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alzado lands in his opponent's guard.
Alzado tries to free his leg and advance position but Pierre is retaining full guard.

Pierre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alzado can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Alzado is nestled in close to Pierre, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Alzado wants to control the pace but Pierre is squirming around nicely.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Morehead, right into the meat.
StPierre tries to clinch but Morehead moves out of range.
Morehead dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Morehead drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Morehead trying to control the position from guard on top but StPierre is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Morehead got a little sloppy there for a moment and StPierre has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morehead has managed to get both his arms back between StPierre's legs - danger averted.
Morehead drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Morehead seems to have locked his on tight now - StPierre screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Morehead, as he picks up the win!

Wiles is keen to just control but Charo is a slippery customer.

Wiles might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Charo kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well Wiles has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

That has opened up Vince Westhaven's cut even more.
Look low, kick high! Rostecki uses the oldest trick in the book to send Westhaven tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Rostecki is absolutely delighted - when Westhaven wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
