1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jayjay Recodo! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Recodo tries to clinch up. Recodo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Moran pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Horrible takedown by Recodo or perhaps it was just good defense by Moran which made him look bad. Recodo shoots for a takedown but Moran saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Recodo shoots in for a double leg but Moran sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Alex Moran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jayjay Recodo. Recodo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Moran swivels and escapes. Recodo fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Recodo stands up and we're back to a striking position. Recodo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moran as he jumps to the side. Moran misses with a head kick.

Moran lands a nice knee to the body. Recodo keeps control of Moran as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Recodo looking for a takedown. Moran pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Moran tries to clinch up. Recodo has a takedown stuffed. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Recodo is defended easily by Moran. Recodo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Moran closes the distance and clinches. Recodo goes for a takedown attempt but Moran pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Moran is pressed up against the cage. Recodo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Moran down to the mat. Moran avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Moran connects with a high kick. Recodo closes the distance but Moran moves to the side and Moran counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Moran manages to break the clinch.
Moran leaves Recodo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Moran tries to clinch up. Recodo looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Recodo tries to clinch up but Moran circles away and keeps his distance. Moran stuffs the takedown attempt from Recodo. Recodo gets slowly back to his feet. Recodo darts in trying to clinch and Moran counters with a left to the body. Moran throws a head kick but Recodo moves out of range.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Recodo. Moran wants to get back to his feet but Recodo drags him back down. Recodo is looking to take a break and control but Moran is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Moran is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Recodo asserts his dominance and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Moran is trying to stand up. Jayjay Recodo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Recodo wants to stand but Moran is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Recodo tries to control but Moran wriggling away. Recodo is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Moran really wants to buck Recodo off and get back to his feet. Moran on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Moran tries to get out of the position. Recodo stands up from mount. Strange move.

He's got his arms around Moran's waist but Moran gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Recodo off to one side. Moran gets a clinch. Come on Moran - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Recodo tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Moran holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Moran is working Recodo over against the cage. Moran breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Recodo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moran tries to avoid it but Recodo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moran to the ground. Moran escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Recodo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Moran fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Recodo, pushing him back against the cage. Alex Moran is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Moran prevents a takedown attempt there.

And that's the end of the fight! Alex Moran showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Moran, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gracie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brock moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gracie motions for Brock to come forward. Gracie throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Brock decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gracie gets full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Brock drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gracie manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brock has Gracie in his guard. Brock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Brock has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brock is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gracie is aware though and is defending well. That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gracie is nestled in close to Brock, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Brock looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Gracie performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Gracie is trying to control the action in half guard but Brock is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Gracie trying to mount his opponent but Brock defends it. Gracie passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Brock! Gracie swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Brock is now in Gracie's guard. A big mistake from Gracie there, giving up the dominant position! It looks like Anderson Silvizzle has been cut. McAlister tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silvizzle was well out of range. Poor timing from McAlister.
