13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur Eld! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Price! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Price tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Eld tries to keep at a distance but Price has taken the fight into the clinch. Eld has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Price wants the takedown. Eld is fighting it off but Price persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Eld's guard against the cage. Price throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Price pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Eld is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Price trying to control the position from guard on top but Eld is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Price has gone for a leg lock! Eld slips out almost immediately though and dives into Price's guard. Eld has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Price is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Eld is aware though and is defending well. Price pulls Eld in to control the position. Price looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Price being controlled for a moment. Price is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Price is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Price manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Price missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Eld is not content to let Price control the position. Price tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Eld. Eld is refusing to be controlled, as Price sits in half guard. Price is trying to work for a kimura but Eld is defending well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Price trying to control from Eld's half guard. Eld has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Eld on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Eld tries to get out of the position. Price slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Price wants to control from the top but Eld keeps moving.
Robert Price has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Eld throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Price looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Eld is fending him off so far but Price persists. Nope, Eld circles away and we're back to standing. Price tries to close the distance and clinch but Eld swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Eld comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Price wants to clinch up but Eld keeps it at a distance. Eld avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Price takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Eld jabbing away but nothing is landing. Eld scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Eld swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Price wants to clinch up but Eld keeps it at a distance. Price uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Eld. Price tries to clinch up. Price on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Price looks gassed! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Price takes a body punch but keeps moving. Eld with a nice cross. Price takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Price takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Firefly throws a looping overhand right but Hinges ducks down to avoid it. Hinges tries to clinch up. Hinges gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Firefly drops back looking for a leg! Hinges is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hinges manages to kick Firefly off! Firefly jumps back into Hinges's guard. Hinges keeping moving, preventing Firefly from controlling successfully. Hinges wants to stand up but Firefly is controlling him. Firefly stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hinges swivels though and keeps the full guard. Firefly wants to control from the top but Hinges keeps moving. Firefly pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hinges is keeping the position for now.

Hinges doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Firefly connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hinges's hands. Jaxon Hinges is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jaxon Hinges has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Baby Firefly. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Firefly crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hinges - the referee stops the clock and Firefly gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hinges. Firefly manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Hinges scores with a nice body kick.

Hinges looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Firefly connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Hinges pulls out of a head kick attempt.

And that's the end of the fight! Baby Firefly comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Firefly has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rizzo moves into range and connects with a jab. Dmitriev scores with a takedown into Rizzo's guard. Rizzo controls Dmitriev momentarily but Dmitriev frees himself. Rizzo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dmitriev wants to control from the top but Rizzo keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dmitriev postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dmitriev looking to pass the guard. Dmitriev is pushing down on Rizzo's leg trying to pass to half guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gomez misses with a series of wild punches.
Walker has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gomez. Gomez misses with a two punch combination.
Walker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gomez. Gomez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Walker as he avoids it easily. Gomez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Stevie Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Gomez. Gomez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A looping hook to the body misses from Gomez. Walker does a little dance to reset his feet. Walker lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gomez backwards. Gomez tries to pull guard but Walker holds him up against the cage and eventually Gomez drops back down to his feet.
