Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dai Goro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goro comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Blues - Andra Sidan kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the ring it seems that Carlos Jackson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Carlos Jackson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

westcott shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. griffin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
griffin wants to sweep but no luck.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as westcott accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

griffin is trying to control the position but westcott postures up.
griffin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in westcott's guard.
westcott is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

griffin gets to his feet. westcott looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

No joy there for griffin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
westcott seems to have recovered his senses.
griffin cracks westcott with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! westcott falls to his knees and griffin doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Rogan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kronic manages to avoid it.

Kronic shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rogan is trying to defend but Kronic finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Kronic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rogan keeps working.
Kronic seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Kronic drops an elbow to the side of Rogan's head.
Kronic keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Rogan is trying to maintain the position but Kronic is very close to passing his half guard.
Kronic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kronic throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Kronic thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rogan's head.
Kronic passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rogan!

Kronic cracks Rogan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

It looks like Joe Rogan has been cut.
The referee warns Rogan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kronic lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Joe Rogan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Joe Rogan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
