The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ulveson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Miller moves away.
Ulveson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ulveson clobbers Miller with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Eddie Miller has been cut.
Miller takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ulveson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Miller momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Miller takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Miller is breathing heavily.
Ulveson looks to land a combination but Miller avoids it well.
Ulveson throws a series of strikes that have Miller backpedaling.

Miller takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Miller has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Miller there as he acknowledges the shot.

Ulveson drops Miller with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Miller looks back up at him and smiles so Ulveson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Eddie Miller's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Miller takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Ulveson punishes Miller's body with a nice straight punch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ulveson.

Ulveson cracks Miller with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Miller looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ulveson finish him?
Oh Miller is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jeez, Eddie Miller's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Miller bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Ulveson comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Miller falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Miller was out before he hit the floor!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piere tries to clinch but Snatcher moves out of range.
Piere tries to close the distance and clinch but Snatcher swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
No luck for Snatcher with that takedown attempt.
Piere avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Snatcher shoots in and drives through. Piere sprawls well.
Piere slaps away a takedown attempt from Snatcher, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Niko Piere has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Cabbage Snatcher.

Let's hope that Snatcher has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Wenydll Chael had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Alfonso Dilorenzo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Partridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fisto Hayuken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayuken has chosen Binaerpilot - Penguin as his entrance music. Fisto Hayuken told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Hayuken might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Partridge has got the better of the exchanges.
Partridge lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hayuken has hold of Partridge's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Partridge manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
