The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pana scores with a takedown into Tam's guard. Pana stops Tam from standing up. Tam has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pana off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Tam throws a right hand that Pana ducks under and follows up with a left that Pana also avoids with ease. Pana fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pana throws the kick towards the body but Tam avoids it. Pana shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tam sprawls well. Tam wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pana gets slowly back to his feet. Tam blocks a jab. Tam displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Tam lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Tam connects with an inside leg kick. Tam misses with a few strikes there.
Pana connects with a single shot there. Tam throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Tam throws a series of punches but Pana moves out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Pana misses the target. Tam throws a one two combo.
It looks like Boy Pana has been cut. Tam Tam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tam lands a left and a right that send Pana crashing to the mat, dazed. Tam thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Pana is breathing heavily. Tam connects with a crisp jab.
Pana is rocked! Tam cracks Pana with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Pana tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Tam pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Pana is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzales tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mithsi swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gonzales wants to clinch. Mithsi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Mithsi tries to close the distance and clinch but Gonzales swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mithsi throws a push kick but Gonzales slaps the foot to one side. Mithsi works over Gonzales's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Diego Gonzales has been cut. Mithsi tries a head kick but it misses.
Gonzales tries to clinch but fails miserably and Mithsi counters by moving into the clinch. Mithsi wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Mithsi jumps guard but Gonzales stands there with Mithsi around his waist. Mithsi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Mithsi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tauha Mithsi wasn't active enough on the ground. Gonzales tries to clinch but Mithsi moves away and Mithsi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Mithsi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mithsi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gonzales is trying to get an arm triangle but Mithsi is defending well. Mithsi struggling a bit here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mithsi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mithsi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gonzales manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mithsi has Gonzales in his guard. Gonzales has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mithsi is proving hard to escape from. Gonzales passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mithsi has one foot on Gonzales's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Gonzales tries to clinch but Mithsi is having none of it. Gonzales displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mithsi. Gonzales defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mithsi. Diego Gonzales has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tauha Mithsi. Mithsi tries to clinch there but Gonzales circles away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Diego Gonzales will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Diego Gonzales's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Mithsi knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Gonzales passes to full mount! Gonzales wants to take his opponent's back but Mithsi doesn't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gonzales looking to secure an arm triangle but Mithsi defends it well. Gonzales seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Mithsi is holding on tight.

Rasheem is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Mendez tries to close the distance and clinch but Spaso swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mendez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Spaso sprawls well. Spaso wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mendez gets slowly back to his feet. An inside leg kick lands from Spaso. Mike Spaso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Spaso lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Mendez can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Spaso and Mendez drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there.
