The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King scores with a hook.
It looks like Drew Mcnichol has been cut. King misses with the combination.
Mcnichol tries to score a power double leg takedown but King sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcnichol somewhat. Lucas King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. King scores with a jab to the body. King attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. King scores with a jab to the jaw. This has been an exciting period of action! King scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mcnichol in his tracks. Mcnichol drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Mcnichol looks gassed! King walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Mcnichol drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! King swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Mcnichol's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Punish moves in looking to clinch but Mendez pushes him off. Mendez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mendez is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Punish really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mendez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mendez postures up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz throws a hook to the side of Beaker's head but Beaker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cruz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beaker manages to avoid it. Cruz scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Beaker avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cruz throws a jab but it's blocked by Beaker. Cruz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Beaker.

Beaker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cruz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Beaker sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Cruz is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
