The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martelli moves in looking to clinch but Davis pushes him off. Martelli scoring well with a low kick there.
Davis shoots in but Martelli avoids the takedown attempt easily. Martelli is looking to clinch but Davis is avoiding it.
Martelli throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Martelli with a poor takedown and Davis counters with a three punch combo that has Martelli backing up. Martelli nods at Davis to acknowledge the strikes. Martelli misses with a hook. Martelli looks to clinch and Davis counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Martelli works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Davis thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Martelli must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Davis has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Martelli should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Davis has tightened it up now! Martelli should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Requina lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Primon sprawling to the canvas. Requina follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Primon hang on?
It looks like Rafael Primon has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Primon is looking for a sweep. Requina is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Requina sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Primon defending well though. Primon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Requina. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Requina looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Requina throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. He has the arm isolated but Valeriano is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Valeriano wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Valeriano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nunes on the ground. Nunes working the ground and pound effectively.
