The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deschamps throws a half hearted mid kick. Nice takedown defense from Deschamps. No joy for Early on that attempt. Deschamps throws a right and a left that Early avoids nicely. Early looks for a takedown but Deschamps sprawls well. Deschamps tests Early's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Jubal Early has been cut. Early takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Deschamps missing with a left hand there. Early was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Deschamps throws a shot from downtown. Early moves away and avoids it.
