And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eloy Diaz!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askren shoots in for a takedown but Diaz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Eloy Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz throws a body punch but Askren moves out of range.
Diaz tries to clinch but Askren moves out of range.
Askren blocks a head kick by Diaz.
Diaz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Kannon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kovacs tries for a takedown but Kannon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kovacs shoots in but Kannon avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Seddigh takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pierce stalks Seddigh and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Seddigh's face. Seddigh staggers backwards, shaken.
