The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scotsdale throws a head kick that Silva semi-blocks.

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Phillip Scotsdale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scotsdale throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily. Scotsdale throws out a leg kick but Silva moves out of range and Scotsdale only half commits. Scotsdale misses with a series of wild punches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burks tries to clinch but MON moves out of range. Burks defends well against a solid takedown attempt from MON. Burks forces MON back against the cage and clinches. MON drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Burks gets the underhooks and prevents it.
MON is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Burks can't fight it off and eventually MON manages to take the fight to the floor. Burks looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Burks looking to hit a scissor sweep but MON is one step ahead there. MON stops Burks from standing up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as MON accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. MON postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogers gets the takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sprout tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rogers wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Rogers working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Rogers decides to stand back up. Sprout fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Sprout lands the left hand. A cross from Sprout lands. Sprout lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rogers fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Rogers misses with a wild body shot. Sprout connects with a right hand. Rogers shakes it off. Sprout throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rogers fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sprout moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Rogers walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. A jab from Sprout finds it's way through Rogers's defenses. Sprout scores with a sloppy right hand. Rogers should have avoided that one. Rogers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
JC Sprout is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sprout scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Rogers misses with a combination
and Sprout counters with a nice body shot. Rogers looks gassed! Sprout has closed the distance and engaged Rogers in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sprout lands a body punch. Sprout struggles to land a body shot inside as Rogers controls his hands.

Sprout cracks Rogers with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Sprout cracks Rogers with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rogers looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Sprout finish him?
Rogers is still on wobbly legs! Can Sprout finish him? Sprout stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. BOOM! Sprout lands a beautiful left hook that drops Rogers. Rogers tries to recover but Sprout is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Rogers lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ho shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zappatista but Zappatista pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ho takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Zappatista scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Zappatista tries to score with some ground and pound. Ho controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Ho misses with a looping left. Ho sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Ho takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Kai Ho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zappatista ducks under a wild hook from Ho. Punch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cringe moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Cringe connects with a good right hand that stumbles Punch. Punch circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Cringe moves into the clinch successfully.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Punch shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Cringe closes the distance and clinches. Punch wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cringe has him pressed against the cage. Punch is trying to force a seperation but Cringe has the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pointin is on top in guard.

Kuro Kumiko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
A head kick misses from Pointin. Pointin lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kumiko backs up against the cage.
Pointin thows a body shot but no joy. Pointin stalks Kumiko and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kumiko's face. Kumiko staggers backwards, shaken. Left hook, right uppercut from Pointin. Pointin misses with a hook. Pointin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pointin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kumiko has time to react. Pointin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kumiko shoots in but no luck this time. Kuro Kumiko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kumiko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pointin throws an overhand right that lands on Kumiko's shoulder, as Kumiko tries to avoid the shot. Kumiko misses with the combination.
Pointin lands a lovely overhand right. Pointin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kumiko was well out of range. Poor timing from Pointin. Pointin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Pointin cracks Kumiko with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Kumiko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pointin. A swing and a miss from Pointin. Pointin leaves Kumiko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kumiko slips under a jab from Pointin. Pointin moves in looking to clinch but Kumiko pushes him off. Colon Pointin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pointin throws a head kick but Kumiko moves out of range.
Kumiko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pointin. Pointin stuns Kumiko with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Kumiko blocks the body kick.
Pointin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pointin throws a hook to the side of Kumiko's head but Kumiko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Colon Pointin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kumiko drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Kumiko showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Pointin throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pointin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kumiko is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kumiko advances position into side control! Kumiko is trying to get an arm triangle but Pointin is defending well. Kumiko trying to control the position but Pointin is working away. Kuro Kumiko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Colon Pointin. I think Kumiko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kahoku loads up on a big right hand but Fiendish slips the punch. Fiendish shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fiendish showed some decent athleticism there. Fiendish drops an elbow to the side of Kahoku's head. Kahoku avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fiendish. Fiendish winds up and cracks Kahoku with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Fiendish seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Kahoku really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fiendish. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fiendish is looking to take a break and control but Kahoku is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kahoku keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kahoku on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Kahoku tries to roll over but Fiendish keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fiendish has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Fiendish has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kahoku tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fiendish looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Fiendish connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That has opened up Kime Kahoku's cut even more. A nice elbow there by Fiendish. Fiendish with good strikes from the mount here! Kahoku in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Fiendish is landing with some decent strikes but Kahoku is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Kahoku is still in real trouble! Can Fiendish finish him?
The cut above Kime Kahoku's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
