2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Cook! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Cook misses. Mungo scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Mungo throws a big shot that misses. Some wild striking there from Mungo.
Cook clinches with his opponent.
Cook comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Mungo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Mungo prevents Cook from breaking the clinch. Cook has Mungo pushed against the cage. Cook stalling in the clinch but Mungo improves position. Mungo lands a hook to the side of the head. Mungo on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Cook drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mungo gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Sloppy strikes there by Cook. Cook misses with the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cook working the ground and pound but Mungo is defending the strikes. Mungo prevents Cook from improving position. Mungo is trying to get back to half guard. Mungo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mungo tries to get out of the position. Cook throws a strike aimed at the side of Mungo's head but Mungo avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Cook tries for a kimura but Mungo is defending well. Cook in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Mungo is working to avoid the ground and pound but Cook connects with a decent elbow. Mungo is trying to get back to half guard. Cook is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mungo has escaped the position, nice work there. Cook misses with the ground and pound.

Cook throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Mungo taking a bit of punishment here - Cook scoring with strikes. Cook misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Mungo controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Shane Cook dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Greg Mungo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheers as Mungo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cook doesn't seem phased though. Mungo misses the jab. Cook takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice jab there from Mungo. Cook tries to clinch up but Mungo circles away and keeps his distance.

Nice takedown defense from Mungo. No joy for Cook on that attempt. Mungo misses with an uppercut. Cook saw that one coming. Cook keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Cook uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mungo. Cook avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Mungo scores with a jab to the jaw. Mungo looks to score with a jab to the body but Cook is just out of range. Mungo defending well as Cook loads up on a big left hand. Cook blocks a jab. A nice combination there by Mungo.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cook clinches up with Mungo and pushes him back against the cage. Mungo dodges an elbow strike from Cook.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Cook has Mungo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mungo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Mungo blocks an elbow strike. Mungo swings wildly with an uppercut but Cook uses good head movement to avoid it. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Cook can't get the takedown.
Greg Mungo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Cook. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Cook just misses with a elbow thrown towards Mungo's brow. Cook has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mungo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Mungo softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Cook taking a breather. Cook drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mungo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Cook uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mungo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mungo loads up on a big right hand but Cook slips the punch. Mungo displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Mungo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Cook tries to clinch up. Cook ducks under a wild hook from Mungo. Cook steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mungo. Cook avoids a punch combination nicely.
Greg Mungo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mungo jabs Cook right on the nose. Cook blinks but takes it well. Mungo works the jab nicely. Greg Mungo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cook fails to land the takedown. Cook slips a straight right by Mungo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cook takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Mungo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Cook displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mungo throws out the jab. Mungo lands a left and a right that send Cook crashing to the mat, dazed. Mungo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cook is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mungo connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Cook out cold! This one is over in a flash!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Somdet throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Somdet takes a swing at Melendez's ribcage but misses. Somdet misses with a takedown attempt - Melendez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Melendez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Somdet! Somdet working to try and regain half guard.
Melendez has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Somdet's face.
Somdet tries to get back to half guard but can't. Melendez lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Melendez landing punches. Melendez cracks Somdet with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Somdet is working to get back to half guard.
Melendez fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
It looks like Ramba Somdet has been cut. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Melendez is landing with some decent strikes but Somdet is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Diaz thuds his right hand into Pato's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Pato misses with a wild body shot. Diaz scores with a body shot.

Both fighters working to control the clinch. Pato has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Diaz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Diaz can't break the clinch.

and Diaz counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pato thinking. Diaz tries to clinch but Pato moves out of range. Pato will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Diaz ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A slow jab from Pato misses its intended target. Diaz tries to clinch there but Pato circles away.
Diaz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pato. Diaz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pato looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Diaz stalks Pato and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pato's face. Pato staggers backwards, shaken. Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pato swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nate Diaz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Diaz moves in looking to clinch but Pato pushes him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz connects with a nice looking jab.

He's hooked one of Pato's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pato's back! Diaz has the hooks in. Pato is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Diaz gets his hands free as Pato looks to control. Pato has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Diaz. Diaz working for a choke but Pato is defending well. Pato trying to control the position but Diaz manages to sink in the hooks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pato has hold of Diaz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Diaz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Pato has control of Diaz's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Diaz regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Pato is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Diaz can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Diaz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pato is working away from the top position though. Pato is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Diaz sees it coming and defends easily. Still in half guard, Pato seems content to control. Pato is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Pato controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Pato postures up.
Pato's corner is telling him to maintain position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pato trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Alexandre Pato has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Pato misses with a takedown attempt - Diaz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexandre Pato showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Diaz works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Diaz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pato. Pato on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Pato swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Diaz counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pato thinking. Diaz lands a glancing blow to the side of Pato's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pato fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Diaz wants to clinch up but Pato keeps it at a distance. Diaz lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Diaz is looking to wear down Pato with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Pato walks into a straight right hand from Diaz. Pato takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Pato tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diaz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pato somewhat. Diaz throws a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pato looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Diaz listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Diaz tries to clinch but Pato is having none of it. Pato shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Diaz sprawls well. Diaz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pato gets slowly back to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pato. Pato moves forwards but Diaz connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Diaz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Pato shoots for a double leg takedown but Diaz sprawls well. He's pushed Pato's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Pato fails with the takedown. Diaz throws a series of strikes that have Pato backpedaling.
Diaz throws a right and a left that Pato avoids nicely. Diaz leaves Pato with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Diaz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And that's the end of the fight! Nate Diaz showed his dominance in that final round. I think Diaz has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Marks fails in his attempt to clinch. Marks doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Eisenhower will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Eisenhower misses with a two punch combination.
Eisenhower displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Marks is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Eisenhower. Eisenhower throws a right and a left that Marks avoids nicely. Marks tries to close the distance and clinch but Eisenhower swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Marks misses with a series of wild punches.
An inside leg kick lands from Eisenhower. Marks looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Eisenhower! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Eisenhower tries to hold on but Marks pushes him away. Eisenhower regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marks trying to mount his opponent but Eisenhower defends it. Eisenhower holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Marks seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Eisenhower does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Marks looks gassed! Eisenhower keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
