0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, kevin puusepp! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from puusepp. puusepp takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Puruunen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Puruunen clinches up against the cage. Puruunen lands a hook that snaps the head of puusepp backwards.
It looks like kevin puusepp has been cut. Puruunen breaks the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Puruunen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Puruunen tries to close the distance and clinch up but puusepp swats him away and circles back towards the center. Puruunen moves into range and clinches up with puusepp. Puruunen lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. puusepp is trying to break the clinch but Puruunen has him pressed against the cage. Puruunen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. puusepp is defending well for now. puusepp takes an elbow to the forehead. Puruunen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but puusepp paws at him with a jab and circles away. Puruunen slips under a jab. Puruunen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Puruunen lands an elbow inside that puusepp shrugs off. puusepp lands a shot to the body. puusepp wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Puruunen has him pressed against the cage. puusepp has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Puruunen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. puusepp blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Puruunen avoiding damage.

Timu Puruunen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Puruunen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but puusepp paws at him with a jab and circles away. kevin puusepp's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Puruunen creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through puusepp's defenses.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at kevin puusepp's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hyypia feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hyypia thows a big elbow that misses. Hyypia trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hyypia trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hyypia loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hyypia drops back looking for a leg! If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hyypia has hold of Huynh's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Huynh manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Kang ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Asgaard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Asgaard keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kang's head.

The Rocket has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lorenz finds it's way round the side to connect with The Rocket's head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lorenz avoids the head kick by The Rocket.
