The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lockridge rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moukari moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Moukari moves into range and clinches up with Lockridge. Lockridge is trying to break free. Lockridge struggles to land a body shot inside as Moukari controls his hands.

Markus should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Markus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Markus clinches. Markus has hullu pressed against the cage, preventing hullu from circling away and getting back to striking at range. hullu fails to pull the fight into his guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hietala cracks Tallaaja with a right hand to the side of the head. Tallaaja feints and as Hietala raises his hands in defense, Tallaaja changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hietala wants to sweep here but Tallaaja controlling him for the moment. Hietala on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hietala tries to get out of the position. Tallaaja prevents Hietala from getting back to his feet. Hietala scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Hietala swings for the body but Tallaaja moves out of range.
Hietala with a hook. Tallaaja takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. No joy there for Hietala, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tallaaja throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hietala's waist but Hietala gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tallaaja off to one side. Tallaaja closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hietala circles away. Hietala darts in and clinches Tallaaja up against the cage. Tallaaja can't get the takedown.
Maushu Hietala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teppo Tallaaja. Tallaaja tries to land a knee to the head but Hietala blocks with his arms.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Hietala has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tallaaja is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hietala has had enough of the clinch but Tallaaja keeps him there for the moment. Tallaaja misses with an elbow over the top. A head punch on the inside from Hietala fails to land. Tallaaja tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Tallaaja obliges. Hietala tries to score a body lock takedown but Tallaaja shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Tallaaja misses with an elbow over the top. Tallaaja decides to pull guard. Hietala postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hietala trying to control but Tallaaja is working from the bottom. Hietala not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hietala is working Tallaaja over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hietala has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hietala connects with a couple of short punches. Hietala looking to sit in guard and control but Tallaaja gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Tallaaja looks gassed! Hietala preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Tallaaja throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hietala is on top in guard.

Tallaaja preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hietala slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Hietala looks up at the clock and then as Tallaaja takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hietala smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Tallaaja takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Hietala is working to tighten is grip on Tallaaja's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tallaaja has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hietala is really squeezing tight and eventually Tallaaja passes out! Hietala breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Guy is defended easily by Six. Guy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Guy there as he acknowledges the shot. Six throws a series of punches but Guy avoids them all with ease. Six is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Six moves into the clinch. A battle for position here, against the cage. Six seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Guy is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment. Maybe Six would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much. Six avoids a wild elbow strike from Guy. Guy is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Six is defending well for now. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Guy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Six fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guy controls Six momentarily but Six frees himself. Six postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Guy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Guy is refusing to be controlled, as Six sits in half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Six content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Six works his way into full mount!

Slana attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Jake takes a swing at Slana's ribcage but misses. Jake pivots, looking for a leg kick but Slana is out of range and Jake settles back down. A telegraphed right hand from Jake misses the target. Crunch! Slana slams his shin into Jake's torso. Jake looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jake takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Whack! Slana lands a heavy head kick that drops Jake. The ref tackles Slana to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Jake was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Brien shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dude napping and manages to drive through into side control! Dude tries to escape but O Brien is in control. O Brien tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no O Brien has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! O Brien looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Dude is avoiding damage well.
O Brien looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. O Brien working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. O Brien throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dude is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, O Brien asserts his dominance and retains side control. O Brien cracks Dude with a big elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. O Brien thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. O Brien creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. O Brien scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Dude is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and O Brien can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allister takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Allister buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Allister throws a body kick that misses. Dos Santos checks a low kick from Allister. Dos Santos scores with a nice strike. Allister takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Allister throws a nice inside leg kick. Dos Santos is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Allister throws a leg kick that misses. Allister fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dos Santos is out of range. Dos Santos connects with a looping right hand.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kauri throws a jab when Mancer was well out of range. Kauri shoots for a double leg takedown but Mancer sprawls well. He's pushed Kauri's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mancer throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Kauri thows a body shot but no joy. Kauri checks the leg kick. A leg kick checked by Kauri. Mancer moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Mancer throws a nice outside leg kick. Kauri tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Mancer throws a front kick that sends Kauri stumbling back into the cage. Mancer misses with a head kick.
Kauri fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mancer manages to avoid it.

Kauri missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mancer holds on and takes a little breather. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kauri accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kauri pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mancer is keeping the position for now. Kauri postures up in Mancer's guard and throws a big left but Mancer blocks it.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Mancer controls Kauri momentarily but Kauri frees himself. Kauri is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Mancer rather than just go for the knockout. Mancer leaves Kauri with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kauri misses the jab. Mancer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A looping hook to the body misses from Kauri. Mancer does a little dance to reset his feet. Kauri looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mancer! Kauri wants to control the pace but Mancer is squirming around nicely. Kauri throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Kauri throws a body punch but Mancer moves out of range. Kauri lands a jab to the nose. Mancer connects with a solid leg kick. Kauri throws a hook to the side of Mancer's head but Mancer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. The fight stays on the outside here - Mancer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kauri fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kauri feints and as Mancer raises his hands in defense, Kauri changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kauri missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kauri trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kauri postures up in Mancer's guard and throws a big left but Mancer blocks it. Kauri trying to control the position from guard on top but Mancer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kauri might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mancer kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Mancer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mancer is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kauri rolls with it to try and escape but Mancer cranks on the arm and Kauri is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Loman throws out a loose jab but Kaiho uses good head movement to avoid it. Loman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Loman not landing any meaningful shots this time. Loman prevents Kaiho from improving his position. Loman missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Loman has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Loman is in the full mount, landing strikes. Loman working the ground and pound effectively.
