Chateau fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hari avoids it really well and circles away.
Chateau will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chateau has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Hari. Oh but Chateau has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Hari goes limp - he's gone! Chateau jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferro fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bonds.
Bonds is breathing heavily.
Ferro bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Ferro lands with an uppercut that bounces Bonds off the cage and back into rage.
Ferro stalks Bonds and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bonds's face. Bonds staggers backwards, shaken.
Bruno Ferro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ferro throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bonds.

Ferro has control of Bonds's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bonds regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Kingstar slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Johnson throws out a powerful jab.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kingstar as he avoids it easily.
Kingstar leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kingstar takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Johnson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kingstar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kingstar comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kingstar lands a big head kick that sends Johnson tumbling to the mat! Kingstar takes a step backwards and waves Johnson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Vance Johnson has been cut.
