You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mrd takes the fight into the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Leaf's face as he tries to break the clinch. Mrd jumps guard and drags Leaf to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Leaf tries to stand but Mrd is controlling from the bottom. Mrd is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Leaf is aware though and is defending well. Mrd has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Leaf can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Leaf avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Mrd tries to clinch but Leaf is having none of it. Leaf throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mrd. Pueblo Leaf is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Leaf stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Leaf wants it to stay on the feet. Leaf swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Leaf ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Mrd looks gassed! Leaf throws a front kick aimed at Mrd's knee but Mrd avoids it well. Leaf dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Leaf throws a series of punches but Mrd moves out of range. Leaf throws a body punch but Mrd moves out of range. Mrd closes this distance looking for a takedown but Leaf circles away. Pueblo Leaf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krk Mrd. Leaf comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mrd takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Leaf clobbers Mrd with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Pueblo Leaf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Leaf lands a left and a right that send Mrd crashing to the mat, dazed. Leaf thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Krk Mrd has been cut. Leaf digs a good body shot into Mrd's ribs. Mrd is still on wobbly legs! Can Leaf finish him? The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Leaf lands with a right and another and another! Mrd is in big trouble! Leaf lands again and this time it's lights out for Mrd! A quality knockout there for Leaf.

Diaz is looking for a sweep. Bukviconte is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bukviconte is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's better than Learmont was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Learmont working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The fight stays on the outside here - Learmont looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Radzak uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Learmont. Radzak moves into range and clinches up with Learmont. Learmont tries to circle away but Radzak has him pinned against the cage. Radzak escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Learmont looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Radzak puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Radzak tries to stand and escape but Learmont is controlling the position. Learmont is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Radzak is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Radzak has escaped and now he's on top! Radzak gets to his feet - Learmont follows without any prompting. Radzak shoots for a takedown but Learmont saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Learmont shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Igor Radzak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Learmont.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawson lands with a right hand. Lawson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Darko as he jumps to the side. Darko finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Horrible takedown by Lawson or perhaps it was just good defense by Darko which made him look bad. Lawson keeps the fight on the outside. Darko moves out of range as Lawson strikes. Darko fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lawson manages to avoid it. Lawson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Darko.

Swift lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hawkins circles away quickly and effectively. Hawkins bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Swift misses with a double jab.
Hawkins scores with a spinning back kick! Hawkins scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Hawkins working the body and head with strikes. Hawkins works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A lull in the action here. Swift really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hawkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hawkins in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Swift is pushing Hawkins's head away, looking to escape. Hawkins manages to hold on to the position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hawkins has hold of Swift's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Swift seems comfortable defending it but Hawkins has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Swift is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Swift is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hawkins couldn't care less - he's delighted!
