Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Oscar Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Krk Mrd! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mrd misses with a leg kick. Mrd darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Diaz trying to control from the bottom.
Mrd trying to control from half guard but Diaz is working away. Mrd seems to be working for a kimura but Diaz defends the submission attempt. Mrd is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Diaz sees it coming and defends easily. Diaz is looking to control Mrd's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Diaz avoid being mounted? Mrd seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Mrd not doing much here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith thows a body shot but no joy. ibanez slips a jab and a cross from Smith.
Smith has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from ibanez. Smith misses with a wild combination.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but ibanez moves out of range and avoids them all easily. ibanez jabs at Smith's body. Smith misses with a double jab.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Dietoris. No joy for Mann on that attempt. An inside leg kick from Mann misses. Dietoris explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Dietoris with a jab. Dietoris lands with a nice body punch. Dietoris throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mann stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Dietoris lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action! Dietoris throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mann's head. Dietoris cracks the inside of Mann's front leg. Dietoris is breathing heavily. Donk. The fight stays on the outside here - Mann looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mann misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Dieter Dietoris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rolando Mann.

Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Smith bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Smith decides to stand up, so the ref orders Wulfsburgh to his feet. Wulfsburgh misses with a series of wild punches.
Wulfsburgh feints and then cracks Smith's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Smith down. Wulfsburgh scores with a nice strike. This has been an exciting period of action! Smith shoots in looking for a takedown. Wulfsburgh tries to sprawl out of it but Smith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wulfsburgh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wulfsburgh lands a big uppercut and Smith crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Smith looks OK. Wulfsburgh waves Smith back to his feet!
Smith is rocked! Wulfsburgh throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Smith looks gassed! It's a brutal combination of punches from Wulfsburgh! Smith is backing up but he can't get away as Wulfsburgh lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Smith and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Cooper is trying to get an arm triangle but Liddel is defending well. Cooper controls the position from side control. Cooper wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Liddel, who protects the arm well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. The strikes coming from Cooper are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Cooper is trying to move to mount but Liddel reverses beautifully and ends up in Cooper's guard. Cooper utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cooper working for a triangle but Liddel defends it easily.

Cooper closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Cooper in side control, just content to control the action for now. Cooper goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Liddel has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cooper but great work by Liddel. Cooper tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cooper is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Cooper moves into full guard.
Liddel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cooper has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Liddel has managed to get both his arms back between Cooper's legs - danger averted. Liddel postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sephiroth Cooper. Liddel jabs at Cooper's body. Sephiroth Cooper is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cooper looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Liddel is fending him off so far but Cooper persists. Nope, Liddel circles away and we're back to standing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Liddel tries to clinch up. Fred Liddel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Liddel fails to land with a series of punches.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sephiroth Cooper. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cooper, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cadwallader shoots in for a takedown but Grabovski shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Cadwallader fails with a takedown attempt. A momentary lapse in concentration from Cadwallader enables Grabovski to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cadwallader manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Cadwallader manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Cadwallader tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

He hasn't managed just yet though. Cadwallader is taking a breather. Grabovski says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Grabovski is staying active underneath Cadwallader, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
