The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skorodumov tries to clinch but Dmitrov moves out of range. Dmitrov blocks a low kick nicely. Dmitrov lands a head kick. Vegas throws a head kick that misses. Vegas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zhukov thows a body shot but no joy. Zhukov takes a swing at Vegas's ribcage but misses. Vegas tries to clinch up. Vegas thows a left - swing and a miss! Zhukov throws an overhand right that lands on Vegas's shoulder, as Vegas tries to avoid the shot. Vegas misses the body punch and Zhukov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Vegas throws a head kick that misses. Zhukov misses with a shot to the body and Vegas counters with a body kick that stops Zhukov in his tracks momentarily. Zhukov avoids the head kick by Vegas.
Vegas throws a nice looking combination but Zhukov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The fight stays on the outside here - Vegas looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Vegas tries to close the distance and clinch but Zhukov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Vegas throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Vegas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Vegas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Vegas tries to recover but Zhukov is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Vegas lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
