A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Seco. Seco closes this distance looking for a takedown but Escobar circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Beco Seco. That sent Kharitonov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kharitonov missing with a left hand there. Edgar was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Edgar shoots in and gets a takedown into Kharitonov's guard. Edgar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kharitonov keeping moving, preventing Edgar from controlling successfully. Edgar throws a big right hand that misses. Edgar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kharitonov swivels though and keeps the full guard. Edgar passes Kharitonov's left leg - he's now in half guard. Edgar prevents Kharitonov from improving his position. Edgar not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Kharitonov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Edgar looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Kharitonov tries to clinch up but Edgar circles away and keeps his distance. Edgar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kharitonov as he jumps to the side. Frank Edgar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Nice uppercut lands for Kharitonov. That snapped Edgar's head back.
Bolodenka Kharitonov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Edgar scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kharitonov is trying to get back to half guard. Kharitonov is not content to let Edgar control the position. Kharitonov can't do much from the bottom here.

Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wallace scores to the head and body with a nice combination! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wallace looks to throw the jab but Maximus is out of range. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Maximus. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Maximus checks the leg kick nicely there.
