6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Doe! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shepherd chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Shepherd throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Shepherd throws a lazy right hand but Doe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Shepherd fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Doe. Shepherd lands a nice leg kick that just misses Doe's sensitive parts. Doe changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Doe is looking to clinch but Shepherd is avoiding it.

Shepherd feints and then cracks Doe's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Doe down. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shepherd avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Shepherd connects with the punch. Doe on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shepherd uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Doe has time to react. Shepherd looks to land a combination but Doe avoids it well. Doe throws a head kick but Shepherd moves out of range.
Shepherd paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Shepherd is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Shepherd fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Doe on the side of the head.
Doe is rocked! Shepherd connects with a leg kick. Doe looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Doe takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Shepherd lands the left hand. Doe is still on wobbly legs! Can Shepherd finish him?

Shepherd circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Doe to the canvas! Doe doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Shepherd keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Richardson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Richardson looks to score with a jab to the body but Yamasaki is just out of range. Richardson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
