The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hemlock fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brashears avoids it really well and circles away.

Brashears feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Brashears must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Banks will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Banks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Banks finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Bryan Banks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Banks is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Shot.
Horrible takedown by Banks or perhaps it was just good defense by Shot which made him look bad.
A lazy left from Shot finds it's target.

Shot lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shot.
Banks takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Shot pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Banks back to the cage. Shot follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Shot scores with a one two! Banks had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Shot gets in close and tags Banks with a short punch that almost sends Banks to the mat! Oh Banks is in big trouble! He turns his back on Shot, trying to create some distance but Shot rushes him, striking wildly and Banks goes down! The referee tackles Shot into the cage to end the fight! Shot is one violent man!
