Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yourn Rotterdam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rotterdam comes to the cage accompanied by Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Heads Will Roll. Creed has chosen Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Creed. Rotterdam does a little dance to reset his feet. Creed lands with a thumping leg kick.

Creed goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Creed because Rotterdam was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

It looks like AJ Styles has been cut. Styles tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fernstrom sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Styles somewhat. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fernstrom, as that shot connected.
Nice shot lands for Fernstrom. Styles tried to score with a low kick but Fernstrom checks it. Styles shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fernstrom sprawls well. Fernstrom wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Styles gets slowly back to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Styles is defended easily by Fernstrom. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice defenses there by Styles. Fernstrom lands with a cross. Fernstrom throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fernstrom cracks Styles with a hook to the temple - Styles is on wobbly legs here! Fernstrom swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Styles falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Fernstrom wins by TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCann changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. McCann throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Armstrong tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McCann swivels and escapes. Armstrong tries to clinch but McCann moves out of range. McCann defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Armstrong. Armstrong shoots in for a takedown but McCann shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Torres as he connects with a hook. Chilcoat walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Torres tries to close the distance and clinch but Chilcoat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Chilcoat lands with an uppercut that bounces Torres off the cage and back into rage. Torres fails with an attempt to clinch.
Torres slips under a jab. Torres turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Chilcoat throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Torres lands with a right hand. A big right from Torres misses. Chilcoat looks to throw the jab but Torres is out of range. Torres swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Chilcoat. Chilcoat misses with a hook. Torres walks into a stiff left hand from Chilcoat. Torres leaves Chilcoat with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Torres wants to clinch.

Torres feints and as Chilcoat raises his hands in defense, Torres changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Torres gets to his feet. Brian Torres has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Colonel Chilcoat. Torres slips under a jab from Chilcoat. Torres scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Torres shoots in but no luck this time. Torres cracks Chilcoat with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chilcoat is just content to waste time from the top position. Torres takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Chilcoat looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Torres keeping moving, preventing Chilcoat from controlling successfully.

Chilcoat misses with a takedown attempt and Torres counters with a leg kick. Torres moves out of range as Chilcoat strikes. Chilcoat throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Brian Torres will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Chilcoat thows a huge punch but Torres dodges it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Torres regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Chilcoat. Torres is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Chilcoat is staying active underneath Torres, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Chilcoat works his way to full guard. Good work. Chilcoat throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Chilcoat cracks Torres with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Chilcoat punching from mount but Torres doing a good job of avoiding damage. Chilcoat with a couple of short strikes. Chilcoat throwing strikes here but Torres is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Chilcoat postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Torres looks a forlorn figure.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snoozer punishes Turilli's body with a nice straight punch. Turilli fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Snoozer manages to avoid it. A shot to the body from Turilli misses and Snoozer counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Snoozer. Turilli is trying to force a seperation but Snoozer has the dominant position. Snoozer working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Turilli is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Turilli is trying to break the clinch but Snoozer has him pressed against the cage. Turilli tries to circle away but Snoozer has him pinned against the cage. Snoozer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Snoozer stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Snoozer drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Turilli gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Mera. Kalashnikov wants to control but Mera postures up. Mera throwing shots but missing, from side control. The ground and pound from Mera seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Mera is working Kalashnikov over with some ground and pound from side control. Mera working the ground and pound. Kalashnikov managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Mera.

Mera cracks Kalashnikov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Majik Kalashnikov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Danny Mera is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mera lands a nice shot to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Danny Mera comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mera has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
