The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
HooHar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ura sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ura will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nice defenses there by Ura.
HooHar doesn't manage to clinch there - Ura circles away.

so Ura counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
HooHar is controlling Ura's posture.
Ura throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as HooHar works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ura has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of HooHar is proving hard to escape from.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ura accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Quixote turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Quixote manages to end up in side control.
The Lion striking from the bottom but nothing landed.

Quixote thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The Lion tries to buck Quixote off but Quixote is having none of it.

Quixote has worked his way into a potential kimura here. The Lion is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Quixote yanks on the arm and The Lion is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Quixote.

Tzu lands a big right hand that sends Ho crashing to the mat! Tzu stays standing though and waves Ho back to his feet!

It looks like Ricky Ho has been cut.
Tzu lands a brutal uppercut that launches Ho off his feet! Ho tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Schoonover shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kimura as he avoids it easily.

Kimura fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Schoonover on the side of the head.
Schoonover closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kimura circles away.
Kimura lands a leg kick that knocks Schoonover off balance momentarily.
Kimura throws a leg kick but Schoonover sees it coming and moves out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kimura. That's going to slow Schoonover down.

Schoonover feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kimura has his hands clasped together but Schoonover extends an breaks Kimura's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Schoonover.
