7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Punski Nub! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hogan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Nub swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Nub can't escape the position.
Nub is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Hogan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nub on the ground. Hogan trying to control but Nub is having none of it. Nub tries to improve his position but instead Hogan has taken his back! Hogan has the hooks in. Nub is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Hogan is looking for the choke from the back position but Nub is controlling his hands well. Nub covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Hogan is trying to stick to Nub's back but Nub is turning into Hogan. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hogan's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Nub. Hogan has his hands on Nub's head, controlling the position. Nub postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nub throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hogan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hogan is controlling Nub's posture. Nub wants to pass the guard but Hogan is keeping the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nub accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hogan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Nub trying to control the position from guard on top but Hogan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hogan trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nub drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hogan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nub has Hogan in his guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hogan trying to control the position from guard on top but Nub is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nub pushes a forearm under Hogan's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hogan is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reynolds closes this distance looking for a takedown but Araya circles away. Araya throws a series of punches but Reynolds moves out of range. Araya scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Araya swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Nice takedown defense from Araya. No joy for Reynolds on that attempt. Nice sprawl there from Araya as Reynolds shoots in. Tom Araya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Reynolds. Oooh a lovely combination from Araya sends Reynolds down but not out. Araya dives into side control looking to finish.
Reynolds is rocked! Araya really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Araya decides to stand back up. Araya steps back and let's Reynolds get back to his feet. Reynolds is still on wobbly legs! Can Araya finish him? Araya rushes Reynolds with punches - Reynolds moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Reynolds goes down! Araya follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beauford closes the distance and clinches up with Kooch, looking for a takedown. Beauford pushes Kooch against the cage but Kooch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kooch stuffs the takedown. Beauford has a takedown stuffed. Mike Kooch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carter Beauford. Beauford shoots in for a double leg but Kooch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Beauford shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kooch as he jumps to the side. Kooch stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kooch wants it to stay on the feet. Beauford moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Kooch with a jab. Beauford fails with the takedown. Carter Beauford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kooch pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Beauford back to the cage. Kooch follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Beauford shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kooch defends it nicely. Kooch stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kooch wants it to stay on the feet. Kooch leaves Beauford with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A left and a right from Kooch both land. Nice combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kooch lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Beauford backs up against the cage.
Kooch connects with a crisp jab. Beauford dives in and grabs Kooch's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kooch pushes down on Beauford's head and hops out. Beauford shoots in and drives through. Kooch sprawls well. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kooch, as that shot connected.
Beauford tries to move into range but Kooch moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Beauford shoots in but no luck this time. Beauford looks gassed! A left and a right from Kooch both land. Nice combination. Kooch connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Beauford's hands. Beauford shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kooch as he avoids it easily. Beauford tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kooch swivels and escapes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jab by Kooch. Beauford tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kooch swivels and escapes. Kooch connects with the punch. Kooch scores with a jab to the jaw. Kooch lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Beauford can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Kooch and Beauford drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Kooch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boy shoots in for a takedown but Peters shows good takedown defense. Boy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Peters actively working from the bottom here. Peters looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Boy wants to work for an arm triangle but Peters is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Peters looking for submissions off his back. Boy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Peters! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boy prevents Peters from getting the reversal. Peters sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Peters looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Peters tries to roll over but Boy keeps him under control. Boy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Peters is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Boy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Boy's back! Boy is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Peters is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Boy won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Peters off his unconscious opponent!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mishenko throws a right and a left that both miss. Moore throws a jab but it's blocked by Mishenko. A slow jab from Moore misses its intended target. Moore cracks a nice hook into Mishenko's ribs. Mishenko defending well as Moore loads up on a big left hand. Mishenko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Moore. Sloppy strikes from Moore. Those never looked like landing. Moore dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Mishenko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Moore darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Boris Mishenko has been cut. Mishenko looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Moore drops Mishenko with a beautiful combination! Mishenko stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Moore is looking for the KO! Moore throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mishenko counters with a nice double leg into side control. Moore won't be happy with that. Moore is looking to reverse the position. Mishenko throwing strikes but missing, from side control. You can see the frustration on Moore's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Check out the look on Mishenko's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Torres preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Arska is looking to work some ground and pound but Torres has wrist control. Torres avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Arska throwing strikes from guard but Torres blocks nicely. Arska in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Arska pushes down on Torres's leg and manages to get into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Arska connects with a nice short shot to Torres's temple. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Arska working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Arska is taking a breather. Torres says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Arska trying to advance position but Torres counters by regaining guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arska sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Torres's guard. Torres taking some punishment here, with Arska in his half guard. Torres trying to hold on to Arska's head to control him but Arska postures up.
Arska is looking for a kimura but Torres is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Arska to get the leverage. Torres has hold of Arska's hands but Arska slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Arska missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Arska stalling. Ground and pound from Arska. Arska scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Arska is stalling here. Torres is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Arska seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Torres has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arska is trying to control Torres's posture but Torres avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Arska gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Arska is doing well to control the position and prevent Torres from advancing to side control. Arska tries to get to full guard but Torres has control of the leg. Arska wants to control but Torres passes into side.
Arska manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Arska looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Arska is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Torres defends it well.

Torres on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Torres avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Arska. Arska landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Nice strikes from Arska there. This has been an exciting period of action! Arska is nestled in close to Torres, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Torres is staying active underneath Arska, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Arska working the head and body with strikes. Torres wants to stand back up but Arska manages to pass into side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potter closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Potter is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Michaels pushes Potter off looking to stand but Potter dives back in and keeps control.
Potter content to control rather than advance. Potter stands up from half guard. Potter decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Michaels wants to improve his position but Potter is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Michaels has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Potter is working away from the top position though. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ambrose fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Breaker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Ambrose avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Breaker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ambrose's half guard. Breaker is working for a kimura but Ambrose is defending it quite comfortably.
