3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boogie Woogie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gabriel Striker! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Striker swats away the attempt to clinch by Woogie. Woogie doesn't manage to clinch there - Striker circles away.
Woogie throws a big shot that misses.
Striker rushes Woogie and presses him up against the ropes.
Striker successfully pulls guard.
Striker looking for a sweep. Not yet Striker, not yet. Striker is adopting a defensive guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Striker manages to escape and get back to his feet.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Striker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Woogie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Woogie darts in trying to clinch
and Striker counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Striker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Striker uses his free foot to push down on Woogie's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Woogie. Striker misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Woogie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Striker is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Woogie is forced to tap! Great finish!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Olle avoids the head kick by Yvel.
Yvel misses with a head kick.
Yvel throws a sloppy head kick and Olle moves out of range easily.

Yvel working for a submission but Olle is keeping him at bay. Yvel trying to control but Olle is having none of it. Olle is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Olle sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Yvel wants to stand up but Olle has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Yvel is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Olle is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Olle has escaped and now he's on top! Olle trying to control the position from guard on top but Yvel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Olle trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Olle trying to control but Yvel is working from the bottom. Olle slips nicely into half guard. Olle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yvel keeps working.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yvel preventing the sweep. Yvel wants to control from the top but Olle keeps moving. Yvel is looking to work some ground and pound but Olle has wrist control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Olle can do anything to dispel that myth. Yvel wants to control from the top but Olle keeps moving.  That's one minute gone in the round. Olle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
 We're going to have a standup here because Gilbert Yvel wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Yvel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Yvel tries for a takedown but Olle circles away easily

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Olle tries to advance to mount but can't. Yvel is trying to improve his position.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Olle is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Yvel won't allow Olle to pass to mount. Olle trying to control from Yvel's half guard. Yvel has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Olle trying to control but Yvel is working from the bottom.
Yvel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Olle can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Olle trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Yvel is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Olle knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Olle tries to buck Yvel off but Yvel is having none of it. Olle is holding Yvel down, trying to stall.

Yvel thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Gilbert Yvel is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Yvel trying to control the position but Olle is working away. Yvel wants to stand but Olle has his arm trapped. Yvel avoids the strikes from the bottom by Olle.

Polman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Anfield is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Anfield uses his free foot to push down on Polman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Polman. Anfield landing punches. Anfield controlling his opponent. Polman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anfield on the ground. Anfield connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Polman is squirming around, avoiding Anfield's attempts to control the action. Polman is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Anfield has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Anfield in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Vos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mahayev manages to avoid it. Mahayev throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vos. Vos misses with an uppercut. Vos doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Vos thows a body shot but no joy. Mahayev tries to bum rush Vos with a series of wild strikes but Vos uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mahayev scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vos doesn't seem bothered though. Mahayev connects with a looping right hand.
Vos fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mahayev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

 It looks like Vinny Vos has been cut. Mahayev lands with a hook. Vos tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Vos throws a combination that misses

Vos darts in trying to clinch and Vos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Vos lands a glancing blow to the side of Mahayev's head.
 It looks like Alexey Mahayev has been cut. Vos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mahayev feints a jab promting Vos to slip. Mahayev then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Vos slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Vos swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vos tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Vos tries to clinch and Mahayev counters with a lovely shot to the body. Vos looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Mahayev fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Mahayev uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vos has time to react.

Mahayev gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mahayev lands a shot to the body. Mahayev displaying some good clinch control by pressing Vos up against the ropes. Mahayev gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Mahayev softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Mahayev pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mahayev throws out a powerful jab. Vos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mahayev. Jab, jab by Mahayev - just one landing. Mahayev connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Mahayev throws a combination. Vos tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Vos gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mahayev.
 Vos is rocked! Mahayev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vos moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Vos is still on wobbly legs! Can Mahayev finish him? Vos throws a combination that misses and Mahayev counters with a huge left! Vos is in big trouble! He's backing up but Mahayev isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Vos from any more damage. A dominating finish by Mahayev!
