The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Herald looks to throw the jab but Kilo is out of range. Kilo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nice uppercut lands for Herald. That snapped Kilo's head back.
Herald displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kilo throws out the jab. Justin Herald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Herald moves out of range of the strikes. Herald lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kilo at a distance.
Kilo feints and then cracks Herald's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Herald down. Herald just misses with a punch to the body.

Herald ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kilo moves away. Kilo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Kilo throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kilo.
Herald misses with a combination
and Kilo counters with a takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Herald tries to bench press Kilo off him but Kilo keeps the position. Herald is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kilo is looking to take a break and control but Herald is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kilo working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Kilo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The ground and pound from Kilo seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Herald being controlled for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kilo tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Kilo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Herald keeps working. Kilo working away. Herald looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Herald tries to improve position but can't. Herald sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Herald moves into full guard.

Kilo prevents Herald from improving his position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Herald is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelly moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Richards rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kelly moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kelly sizes up Richards with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Richards misses with a double jab.
Richards tries to clinch but Kelly is having none of it. Richards misses with the combination.
Kelly ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Kelly shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Kelly looking to control but Richards is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kelly throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Kelly keeps the fight on the outside. Richards tries to keep at a distance but Kelly has taken the fight into the clinch. Richards is trying to break the clinch but Kelly has him pressed against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Richards fails to land. Kelly has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Richards clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Kelly controlling from the back. Kelly misses with an elbow to the head. Kelly somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly gets his hands free as Richards looks to control. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Kelly.
Richards is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Kelly 's hooks. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Kelly tries to control but Richards wriggling away. Richards wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Kelly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kelly looking to ground and pound but Richards is blocking nicely. Richards is in all sorts of trouble here.

Kelly controlling his opponent. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kelly cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelly throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Kelly sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Kelly lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

And that's the end of the fight! Cement Kelly comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kelly has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lang wants to clinch. Lang closes the distance and pushes Juan back into the cage. Juan takes a knee to the side of the body. Lang gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Juan regains guard.
Juan controls Lang momentarily but Lang frees himself. Lang trying to control but Juan is working from the bottom. Lang gets to his feet. Juan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Lang rushes Juan and presses him up against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Lang putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Juan in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Juan looks gassed! A body shot lands from Lang.
