The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kukuev slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Smith shoots in looking for a takedown. Bolivar tries to sprawl out of it but Smith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bolivar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bolivar shoots in for a double leg but Smith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Bolivar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Smith tries to clinch but Bolivar is having none of it.

Boxer shoots for a double leg takedown but Kovalenko sprawls well. He's pushed Boxer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kovalenko scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Joe Boxer has been cut.

Kovalenko sends Boxer crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kovalenko is motioning to the referee to let Boxer up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Boxer looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A combination from Kovalenko does no damage.
Kovalenko bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Boxer's head backwards.

Boxer is rocked!
Kovalenko throws an overhand right that has Boxer reeling! Kovalenko follows up with more punches and Boxer is out cold! This one is all over!
