Machinator ducks right into an uppercut from Juessan.

Raymond Blew showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

BOOM! Blew lands a beautiful left hook that drops Baby. Baby tries to recover but Blew is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Baby lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nightman slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Nightman pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Kotaro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nightman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A lazy left from Nightman finds it's target.
Kotaro slips a jab and a cross from Nightman.
Kotaro misses with a takedown attempt - Nightman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nightman moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kotaro displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nightman throws out the jab.

Nightman has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Nightman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kotaro.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Walt Nightman dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Nightman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kotaro is working away from the top position though.

Kotaro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Nightman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Kotaro counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Nightman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kotaro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nightman makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nightman.

Nightman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kotaro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kotaro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kotaro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nightman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kotaro looking to sit in guard and control but Nightman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Nightman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Nightman wants to get up but he can't break Kotaro's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kotaro has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Nightman is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kotaro.
Nightman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kotaro keeps working.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kotaro is looking to reverse the position.
Nightman has control of an arm but Kotaro manages to advance to Nightman's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nightman defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Kotaro's arms.
Nightman wants to escape the position.

Kotaro is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Nightman with him. Nightman is trying to defend but Kotaro has an arm under the chin now! Nightman grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Badass's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Saballe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Badass scrambles back to his feet.
Badass lands a nice leg kick that just misses Saballe's sensitive parts.
Saballe scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

It looks like Billy Badass has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Badass throws a low kick but Saballe avoids it.

Saballe drops Badass with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Badass looks back up at him and smiles so Saballe waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Saballe seems to be stalking Badass here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Badass drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Africanus is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Nieds screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
