Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osmond Schwartz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekka Peitsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Schwartz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hell March. Peitsi has chosen Seitsemän kertaa seitsemän as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Osmond Schwartz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pekka Peitsi! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schwartz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Schwartz is working an open guard so Peitsi takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Peitsi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Schwartz counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Peitsi's guard now. Schwartz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Peitsi's head. Peitsi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Schwartz is one step ahead there. Schwartz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Schwartz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Peitsi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Schwartz has Peitsi in his guard. Schwartz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Peitsi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Peitsi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Schwartz throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schwartz keeping full guard, as Peitsi tries to pass. Peitsi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Schwartz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Peitsi has managed to get both his arms back between Schwartz's legs - danger averted. Peitsi gets to his feet. Schwartz looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Peitsi misses with a few strikes there.
Peitsi throws a combination that misses and Schwartz counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Peitsi's guard now. Peitsi wants to sweep here but Schwartz controlling him for the moment. Schwartz slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Peitsi wants to get back to his feet but Schwartz is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Osmond Schwartz has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Peitsi throws a left and a right that both miss
and Schwartz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Peitsi won't be happy with that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Peitsi is pushing Schwartz's head away, looking to escape. Schwartz manages to hold on to the position though. Peitsi looks gassed! Schwartz lands a few punches from side control. Schwartz laying and praying for a moment but Peitsi takes advantage and regains half guard. Schwartz is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schwartz prevents Peitsi from improving his position. Schwartz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Peitsi's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schwartz is trying to control. Peitsi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Schwartz wants to work for an arm triangle but Peitsi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Peitsi makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Peitsi scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Danga de danga de dang - Peitsi scores with a four punch combination! Schwartz fails with the takedown and Peitsi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Peitsi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Schwartz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Peitsi's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Peitsi wants to stand but Schwartz is controlling the position. Schwartz wants to control from the top but Peitsi keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schwartz works over Peitsi with some ground and pound from guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peitsi thows a leg kick but Schwartz checks it so Schwartz counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Peitsi wants to get back to his feet but Schwartz is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Peitsi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Schwartz is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Peitsi. Peitsi tries to buck Schwartz off but Schwartz is having none of it. Schwartz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Peitsi is looking to regain half guard here but Schwartz keeps moving and retains side control. Schwartz is putting a hurting on Peitsi here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schwartz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Peitsi has escaped the position, nice work there. Peitsi explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Osmond Schwartz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Peitsi works over Schwartz's head and body with a nice combination. Peitsi just misses with a punch to the body.
Peitsi throws a series of punches but Schwartz moves out of range. Peitsi is breathing heavily. Schwartz throws a body punch but Peitsi moves out of range. A punch combination from Peitsi misses. Peitsi swings and misses with a shot to the body and Schwartz counters with a takedown into side control. Peitsi throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Schwartz ducks under a wild hook from Peitsi. Peitsi tries to bum rush Schwartz with a series of wild strikes but Schwartz uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Schwartz uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Peitsi. Peitsi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Schwartz circles away quickly and effectively. Peitsi throws a sloppy head kick and Schwartz counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Schwartz trying to control the action but Peitsi is working from the bottom. Schwartz in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Peitsi tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Schwartz!

Luis looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Hamasaki drops Luis with a nice combination! Hamasaki dives into Luis's guard, looking to finish!
Luis is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hamasaki loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Oh Luis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Hamasaki slips nicely into half guard. Luis seems to have got his legs back now. Hamasaki trying to mount his opponent but Luis defends it. Hamasaki is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Hamasaki controlling the action here. Hamasaki's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hamasaki throwing shots but Luis is blocking nicely.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jordan Hamasaki was stalling too much, according to the referee. Hamasaki instigates a clinch. Hamasaki lands a knee to the body.
Luis takes an elbow to the forehead. Luis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hamasaki lands a damaging elbow. A knee to the head by Hamasaki.
Hamasaki putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Luis in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Hamasaki comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Luis takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Raul Luis has been cut. Hamasaki lands a nice elbow. Hamasaki lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A knee to the head by Hamasaki.

Saarinen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Junior is looking for a triangle but Saarinen pushes his legs off easily.

Saarinen cracks Junior with a big right hand but Junior just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Saarinen is landing with some decent strikes but Junior is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Saarinen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Junior looks a forlorn figure.

He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Saarinen tries to land a sweep but no joy. Saarinen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Junior! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yung Guy closes the distance but Swan moves to the side so Swan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Swan's corner is telling him to maintain position. Yung Guy is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Swan dives into side control.
Swan in side control, just content to control the action for now. Swan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Liisteri is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Goulart to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Goulart shrugs it off. Liisteri looking to secure an arm triangle but Goulart defends it well. Goulart is trying to escape the mount.
