The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Power gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Power can't keep his opponent in guard - Davis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Power tries to get to full guard but Davis has control of the leg.
Power is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Davis scores with a couple of nice shots.

Davis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Power is trying to maintain the position but Davis is very close to passing his half guard.

Davis seems to be looking for submissions.
Davis prevents Power from improving his position.

Davis stands up out of the half guard.

Power gets the takedown into side control.
Davis wants to control but Power postures up.

Power drops back looking for a leg! Davis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Davis manages to kick Power off! Power jumps back into Davis's guard.

Power wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving.

and Power counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Davis had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Power is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Davis Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Power's back instead.
