DeMaio drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
DeMaio has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Capone is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. DeMaio yanks on the arm and Capone is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by DeMaio.

Box tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Eko manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Box shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Eko is trying to defend but Box finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Eko is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eko works his way to full guard. Good work. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Box trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Box working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Eko looking for a sweep. Not yet Eko, not yet. Box is looking to work some ground and pound but Eko has wrist control. Eko bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Box's guard. Eko stops Box from standing up. Box looking for a sweep. Not yet Box, not yet. Eko wants to control from the top but Box keeps moving.
Eko drops back, looking for a kneebar! Box looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Box looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Box! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Box working the strikes but Eko uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Eko works his way to full guard. Good work. Box preventing the sweep. Eko is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Eko seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Eko manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Eko wants to finish this one by submission but Box is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Eko.
Eko swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Van Wissil drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Patrushev wants to stand but Van Wissil is controlling the position.
Patrushev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Van Wissil gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Van Wissil won't allow Patrushev to get back to his feet. Van Wissil really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Patrushev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Patrushev is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Van Wissil defends well.
Patrushev working for a triangle but Van Wissil defends it easily.
Van Wissil must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Van Wissil looking to control and managing it successfully. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Van Wissil won't let Patrushev get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

No, Van Wissil has managed to get both his arms back between Patrushev's legs - danger averted. Van Wissil wants to stand but Patrushev is controlling his posture from full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Mike Van Wissil comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Van Wissil has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Volynkin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Benson is fending him off so far but Volynkin persists. Nope, Benson circles away and we're back to standing. Volynkin fails with a takedown attempt. Benson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Volynkin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jimmy Benson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Volynkin. Benson stuffs the takedown attempt from Volynkin. Volynkin gets slowly back to his feet. Benson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Benson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Benson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Volynkin.

Benson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Volynkin's face as Benson controls the position. Benson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Benson trying to control the position but Volynkin is working away.

Volynkin with a poor takedown and Benson counters with a three punch combo that has Volynkin backing up. Volynkin nods at Benson to acknowledge the strikes. Alexander Volynkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Volynkin avoids the head kick by Benson.
Benson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Volynkin's calf.

and Benson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Volynkin's guard now. Benson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Volynkin wants to stand and escape but Benson is having none of it. Benson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Volynkin is breathing heavily. Benson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Volynkin is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Benson. Benson scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Volynkin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Benson counters with a nice body kick.
Benson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Benson gets the takedown into side control. Benson taking a breather here. Volynkin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Moses White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice sprawl there from Stalin as White shoots in. Stalin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by White.
Stalin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but White moves away.
White shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stalin napping and manages to drive through into side control! White tries to score with some ground and pound. Stalin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Stalin wants to get back to his feet but White drags him back down. White lands some shots froms side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stalin is not content to let White control the position. Stalin is trying to get back to his feet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stalin can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White in side control, throwing shots but Stalin defends. White lands a nice forearm strike. White throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Stalin works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. White thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stalin's head.

White tries to close the distance and clinch but Stalin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. White fails in his attempt to clinch. White fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stalin manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from White finds it's way through Stalin's defenses. Stalin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Paul Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Zhirinovsky. Zhirinovsky ducks right into an uppercut from Parker.
