The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chivichyan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Chivichyan stands up and beckons Herrer to his feet.
Herrer throws a right and a left that Chivichyan avoids nicely.
Herrer wants to clinch up but Chivichyan keeps it at a distance.

Herrer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chivichyan, pushing him back against the cage.
Chivichyan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Herrer pulls his leg out and moves away.
Herrer tries to close the distance and clinch but Chivichyan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Herrer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Chivichyan under the eye.

It looks like Gokor Chivichyan has been cut.
Chivichyan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Herrer defends it nicely.

Dag should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
