Falcon throws a right hand that Beaver ducks under and follows up with a left that Beaver also avoids with ease. Beaver fails with the takedown and Falcon counters with a left and a right that stings Beaver. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Falcon scores with a sloppy right hand. Beaver should have avoided that one. Beaver gets tackled into the cage by Falcon. Falcon maintains the clinch.

Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Winter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Winter! Johnson is out on his feet! Winter rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Johnson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Johnson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tummins clinches. Tummins pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Depralta fails to land the takedown. Tummins fails in his attempt to clinch. Tummins avoids a kick to the body.
Depralta shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Tummins wants to stand up but Depralta is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Depralta trying to control but Tummins is working from the bottom. Depralta lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Tummins manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Tummins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Depralta swats him away and circles back towards the center. Depralta closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Tummins is trying to buck Depralta off. Depralta is working to tighten is grip on Tummins's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tummins has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Depralta is really squeezing tight and eventually Tummins passes out! Depralta breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! BJJ keeps the fight on the outside. Machado shoots for a double leg takedown but BJJ sprawls well. He's pushed Machado's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. BJJ clinches up against the cage. Machado fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Machado manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. BJJ loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. BJJ passes into half guard. Machado is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but BJJ pulls his head out easily. Machado looking for submissions off his back. BJJ wants to free his trapped foot but Machado is holding on for dear life with his legs. BJJ is working for a kimura but Machado is defending it quite comfortably.

BJJ is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Machado to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Machado shrugs it off. BJJ lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
BJJ prevents Machado from getting the reversal. BJJ working Machado over with strikes here. BJJ raining down shots from the mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Machado is trying desperately to improve position. BJJ with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
BJJ has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Machado working to try and regain half guard.

Machado is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Machado flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. BJJ anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Machado and secures both hooks! This could be bad! BJJ slips an arm under Machado chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. BJJ has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. BJJ is squeezing on Machado like an anaconda would it's prey. Machado fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Hassan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Whealen circles away quickly and effectively. Hassan throws a series of punches but Whealen avoids them all with ease. Whealen shoots in for a takedown but Hassan shows good takedown defense. Horrible takedown by Whealen or perhaps it was just good defense by Hassan which made him look bad. Mohammed Hassan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kalib Whealen. Whealen shoots in looking for a takedown. Hassan tries to sprawl out of it but Whealen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hassan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Whealen fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Hassan throws a right hand that Whealen ducks under and follows up with a left that Whealen also avoids with ease. Whealen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hassan defends it nicely. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Specialist is trying to control Koa's posture but Koa avoids it. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Man slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Cabral working a defensive guard but Man passes into half guard.
Cabral is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Man's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Man's back! Cabral has the hooks in. Man is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Cabral has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Man has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
That's one minute gone in the round. Will Cabral go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Man wants to escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Man rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Man looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Cabral throws a strike but Man avoids it easily and moves to full guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Cabral with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Cabral might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man keeping moving, preventing Cabral from controlling successfully. Cabral wanted to stand there but Man had control of the position. Cabral trying to control the position from guard on top but Man is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cabral wants to stand and escape but instead Man has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Man preventing the sweep. Man must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Man tries to free his leg and advance position but Cabral is retaining full guard. Man forces his way into half guard. Cabral is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Man keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bambooo Man dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Man misses with a few strikes there.
Cabral misses with a combination
and Man counters with a one-two to the body. Cabral misses with a takedown attempt and Man counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Man trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Man content to stall in guard here. Cabral is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Man not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cabral tries for a takedown but Man circles away easily and Man counters with a shoot takedown. Cabral fights it but they end up in guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Man controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Cabral looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Man is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Let's hope that Man has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cabral doesn't succeed with the takedown and Man counters with a left and a right that hurts Cabral! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Man jumps into full mount!
Cabral is rocked! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Armando Cabral. That's going to take a lot out of him. This has been an exciting period of action! Man controlling from mount. Oh Cabral is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cabral seems to have got his legs back now.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bambooo Man was stalling too much, according to the referee. Man shoots in and gets a takedown into Cabral's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bambooo Man showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Cabral with a poor takedown and Man counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Cabral to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bambooo Man!
