The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haney closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Endymion throws a series of punches but Haney moves out of range. Endymion with a hook.
It looks like Jon Haney has been cut. Haney uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Endymion. Endymion scores with a nice strike.
Haney is rocked! Haney takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Haney is still on wobbly legs! Can Endymion finish him? A momentary lapse in concentration from Haney enables Endymion to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Haney manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Endymion drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Endymion jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Endymion thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Haney seems to have recovered his senses. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Haney can do anything to dispel that myth. Endymion wants to control from the top but Haney keeps moving. Endymion tries to free his leg and advance position but Haney is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haney utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Endymion wants to pass the guard but Haney is keeping the position. Endymion trying to control but Haney is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Endymion looking to pass the guard. Haney is looking to stand up but Endymion isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Endymion has gone for a leg lock! Haney slips out almost immediately though and dives into Endymion's guard. Endymion looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Haney is defending well. Endymion quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Haney has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Endymion celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Manson or perhaps it was just good defense by Ellison which made him look bad. Ellison showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Manson.
Ellison cracks a nice hook into Manson's ribs. Ellison with a poor takedown and Manson counters with a series of strikes. Ellison will be more careful next time no doubt. Charlie Manson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Manson swats away the attempt to clinch by Ellison. Manson tries to bum rush Ellison with a series of wild strikes but Ellison uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Manson misses with a few strikes there.
Manson with a lazy takedown attempt and Ellison counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ellison lands a nice short elbow. Manson is looking for a sweep. Ellison is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ellison looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Ellison lands with a punch from half guard.

Ellison's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ellison closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Manson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ellison scores with a couple of nice shots. Ellison is nestled in close to Manson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Ellison not doing much here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Logan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fair sprawls well. Fair wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Logan gets slowly back to his feet. Fair throws a quick inside leg kick. Logan ducks right into an uppercut from Fair. Fair slaps away a takedown attempt from Logan, before circling back to the center of the mat. Logan fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Logan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Some wild striking there from Fair.
Logan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A combination from Fair does no damage. Fair connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Fair tries to bum rush Logan with a series of wild strikes but Logan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Logan closes the distance and clinches up with Fair, looking for a takedown. Logan pushes Fair against the cage but Fair circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fair throws a series of punches but Logan avoids them all with ease. Fair lands with a hook. Logan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Fair cracks Logan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Decent striking displayed by Fair there. Fair's corner calls for a 1-2. Fair obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Fair lands a two punch combo.

Fair jabs Logan to the body, keeping him at a distance. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Logan. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Fair fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Logan tries for a takedown but Fair sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nice body punch from Fair.
That's two minutes gone in the round. That kick from Fair tenderised Logan's leg. Logan is trying to keep his angry face on. Fair uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Logan has time to react. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Logan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fair - the referee stops the clock and Logan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fair. Logan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Fair scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Logan doesn't seem bothered though. A left and a right from Fair both land. Nice combination.
Logan is rocked! Fair is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Logan hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Howser fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Howser smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Howser shoots in and bounces Valensky off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Valensky is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Howser has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Valensky had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Howser misses with an uppercut. Valensky saw that one coming. Valensky moves into the clinch. Howser is looking to break free of the clinch but Valensky has double underhooks. Howser is trying to push Valensky away but Valensky has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Howser tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Howser doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boom. Boom will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Boom on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kim avoids the body shot from Boom.
Kim tries to close the distance and clinch but Boom swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Boom gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kim trying to control but Boom is working from the bottom. Kim throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Boom works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kim is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kim drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kim jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kim looking to pass the guard. Kim trying to control the position from guard on top but Boom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boom seems keen to control Kim's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Boom keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sung Kim wasn't active enough on the ground. Boom shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Boom stalling away here and it's allowed Kim to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Boom postures up.

Boom looking to sit in guard and control but Kim gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kim loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kim thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kim trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kim is looking to work some ground and pound but Boom has wrist control. Kim in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Boom working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kim. Kim trying to control the position from guard on top but Boom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kim looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Kim pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Boom is keeping the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sung Kim dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Boom tries to get out of the position. Boom preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kim controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sung Kim wasn't active enough on the ground. Kim shoots in looking for a takedown. Boom tries to sprawl out of it but Kim keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boom manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Boom throws a jab but it's blocked by Kim. Kim doesn't manage to clinch there - Boom circles away.
Kim dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Boom. That did some damage! Boom tries for a takedown but Kim circles away easily and Kim counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim trying to control but Boom is working from the bottom. Kim slips nicely into half guard. Kim trying to control from half guard but Boom is working away. Kim might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Boom kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boom is just riding it out for now. Kim eventually gives up the hold. Kim trying to control from half guard but Boom is working away. Kim content to control rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sung Kim wasn't active enough on the ground. Kim scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kim is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Boom has escaped the position, nice work there. Kim in side control, throwing shots but Boom defends. Boom tries to improve position but can't. Boom wants to control but Kim postures up. Boom is not content to let Kim control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sung Kim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Boom looks to land a right hand but Kim moved out of range. Boom swats away the attempt to clinch by Kim. Boom gets tackled into the cage by Kim. Kim maintains the clinch. Kim escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Boom with a poor takedown and Kim counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Boom's guard now. Kim pushes down on Boom's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kim controlling the action here. Kim trying to mount his opponent but Boom defends it.

Kim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Boom keeps working. Kim is pressing down on Boom's thigh, looking to free his foot. Boom is holding on for now. Kim thows a huge punch but Boom dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kim works his foot free and advances to mount. Kim misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Kim wants to control the pace but Boom is squirming around nicely. Kim jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Boom manages to avoid the submission attempt. Kim is looking to take a break and control but Boom is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kim tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kim has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kim trying to control the position but Boom is working away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boom seems a little lost for a moment, as Kim dominates the positioning.
And that's the end of the fight! Sung Kim comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kim has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Silva lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Silva moves away from the strike by Mortis. Mortis misses with a leg kick and Silva connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Silva jabs Mortis to the body, keeping him at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rickson Silva dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Silva slips under a jab from Mortis. Mortis throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it. Mortis chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Silva can pounce on him.

A left and a right from Silva both land. Nice combination. Crunch! Silva slams his shin into Mortis's torso. Silva has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Silva paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Rickson Silva seems to be getting the better of the standup. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Silva fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Silva lands a jab. Mortis is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Silva. Silva lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mortis at a distance.
Silva lands a left and a right that send Mortis crashing to the mat, dazed. Silva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Silva lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mortis's sensitive parts. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Silva scores with a jab to the jaw. Silva throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kyle Mortis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Winston with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rection to score with a decent uppercut.

Rection lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Rection celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
