The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Lantern checks the leg kick. O Lantern pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Carnage slips a jab and a cross from O Lantern.
Carnage throws a sloppy head kick and O Lantern moves out of range easily. Carnage lands with a thumping leg kick.
Carnage plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Carnage scores with a nice body kick.
O Lantern looks gassed! Carnage fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Carnage lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as O Lantern crumples to the floor! Carnage milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Willis drops Smith with a beautiful combination! Smith stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Willis is looking for the KO! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Smith throws a quick inside leg kick. Smith moves out of range of the body kick. A leg kick checked by Willis. Smith gets tackled into the ropes by Willis. Willis maintains the clinch. Willis tries for a takedown but Smith manages to get underhooks.
Smith wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Willis has him pressed against the ropes. Willis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Willis looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well. Smith fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Willis tries to work over Smith's front leg with a kick but Smith checks it. Smith looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Smith misses with a series of wild punches.
Willis lands a left and a right that send Smith crashing to the mat, dazed. Willis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Willis tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Smith seems to have got his legs back now. The fight stays on the outside here - Smith looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Smith misses with a two punch combination.

Smith throws a chopping leg kick but Willis manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Willis closes the distance and clinches. Smith is fighting off a takedown attempt but Willis is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Smith to the mat. Smith regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Smith utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Willis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Willis on the ground. Smith working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Willis. Willis thows a big elbow that misses.

Willis working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Smith's head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Willis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Smith's head. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Willis throwing strikes from guard but Smith blocks nicely. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The strikes coming from Willis are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Willis working the ground and pound. Willis misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Smith throws a leg kick but Day moved away. Day tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center. Day on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Smith lands with a kick to the temple. Day shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Smith scoring well with a low kick there.

Day should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Day shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Day lands a nice shot to the head. Day with a couple of short strikes. Day tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. The fight stays on the outside here - Ryder looks like he's thinking about clinching though. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nosnom tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pounder sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nosnom somewhat. Nosnom looks gassed! Nosnom will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Pounder throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Pounder uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Pounder shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Pounder is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Nosnom has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Nosnom defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Pounder. Nosnom is trying desperately to improve position. Pounder has control of Nosnom's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nosnom regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Pounder will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pounder with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Angelo circles away quickly and effectively. Silva finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

A right-left combo lands from Mirror. Mirror feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Chavalos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Mirror throws a shot from downtown. Chavalo moves away and avoids it. A swing and a miss from Mirror. Mirror scores with a shot to the body.
Mirror stalks Chavalo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chavalo's face. Chavalo staggers backwards, shaken. Chavalo is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Mirror is staying active. Mirror happy to just control the position for now. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Mirror wants to stand but Chavalo is controlling his arm. Mirror stands up. Chavalo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mirror tries to avoid it but Chavalo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mirror to the ground. Mirror escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
