 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rackson throws a jab when Fields was well out of range. Fields fails with an attempt to clinch.

Rackson throws a right hand that Fields ducks under and follows up with a left that Fields also avoids with ease. Rackson misses the shot to the body. Rackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rackson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fields - the referee stops the clock and Rackson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fields. Rackson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Fields lands a high kick!

Fields has Rackson pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Rackson is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Fields - that's hurt Rackson badly! Oh, another knee lands and Rackson is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Rackson doesn't seem to be complaining.

Axxe connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Jesse Weston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Weston tries to catch it but that hurt him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Axxe connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Axxe throws out a powerful jab. A decent looking cross lands there for Axxe. Weston avoids a punch combination nicely.

Axxe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Weston sees it coming and avoids it easily. Axxe looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Axxe missing with a left hand there. Weston was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Weston shoots in and drives through. Axxe sprawls well. A shot to the liver by Axxe. Beautiful body shot. Axxe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Weston has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Weston tries to close the distance and clinch up but Axxe swats him away and circles back towards the center. Weston wants to clinch. Axxe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Weston. Weston takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Axxe looks to land a combination but Weston avoids it well. Thor Axxe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Axxe scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Weston fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Axxe avoids it really well and circles away. Thor Axxe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse Weston. Jab by Axxe. Axxe is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Axxe lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Thor Axxe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Axxe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Weston. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Weston fails with a takedown attempt. A combination from Axxe does no damage. Thor Axxe is winning the standup battle so far. Weston has a takedown stuffed. Axxe is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Axxe misses with a wild body shot. Weston fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Axxe clobbers Weston with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Weston shoots in and bounces Axxe off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Weston wants to pass the guard but Axxe is keeping the position.

That's going to take a lot out of Jesse Weston. Axxe slaps away a takedown attempt from Weston, before circling back to the center of the mat. Axxe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Weston. Axxe works Weston's body with a nice hook. Weston is trying hard to land a takedown here. Axxe sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Axxe lands a jab to Weston's midsection. Weston tries to score a power double leg takedown but Axxe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Weston somewhat. Weston shoots in looking for a takedown. Axxe tries to sprawl out of it but Weston keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Axxe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Weston fails with a takedown attempt. Axxe misses with a series of wild punches.
Weston takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Weston shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Axxe as he avoids it easily. Axxe lunges at Weston with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Weston's hand. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Axxe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Axxe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Weston circles away quickly and effectively.

Weston takes the fight into the clinch. Weston fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Axxe is trying to force a seperation but Weston has the dominant position. Weston tries to score a body lock takedown but Axxe shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Weston can't get the takedown.
Axxe breaks from the clinch.
Weston closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Axxe did well to prevent Weston getting side control. Axxe wants to get back to his feet.

Weston takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Axxe is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Weston slips a jab and a cross from Axxe.
Weston throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Axxe's waist but Axxe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Weston off to one side. Axxe throws a series of punches but Weston avoids them all with ease. Weston takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jesse Weston has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Axxe's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Axxe duly obliges.
And that's the end of the fight! Thor Axxe showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Axxe, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jarasco slips under a jab. Jarasco displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gecko throws out the jab. Jarasco misses with an uppercut. Gecko saw that one coming. Jarasco takes a swing at Gecko's ribcage but misses. Gecko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jarasco sees it coming and avoids it easily. Gecko throws out a loose jab but Jarasco uses good head movement to avoid it. Gecko throws a lazy right hand but Jarasco sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gecko looks to throw the jab but Jarasco is out of range. Gecko throws a good cross that connects.
 It looks like homlea Jarasco has been cut. Gecko thows a left - swing and a miss! Jarasco blocks a jab. Jarasco throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gecko. Gecko lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Gecko misses with a jab to the body
and Jarasco counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jarasco displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gecko throws out the jab.
Gecko sends Jarasco crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gecko is motioning to the referee to let Jarasco up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
 Jarasco is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Gecko loads up on a big right hand but Jarasco slips the punch. Jarasco is still on wobbly legs! Can Gecko finish him?
 That's one minute gone in the round. Gecko throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jarasco counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Gecko drops Jarasco with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jarasco looks back up at him and smiles so Gecko waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jarasco slips a jab from Gecko. Gecko misses with a body shot
and Jarasco counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gecko thinking. Gecko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jarasco seems to have recovered his senses. Jarasco slips a straight right by Gecko. Gecko lands with a right hand.
 That has opened up homlea Jarasco's cut even more. Gecko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jarasco.
Jarasco walks straight into a right hand from Gecko - that's dropped him! Gecko jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Jarasco from any more punishment! Jarasco complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Higham has Maipen pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Maipen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Mop Maipen.
Higham changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Maipen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Maipen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Higham on the ground. Maipen is trying to control Higham's posture but Higham avoids it.
Higham is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Maipen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Maipen manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Higham throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Maipen gets full guard.
Higham has gone for a leg lock! Maipen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Higham's guard.
