Mastadon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Chamberes looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mastadon grinds an elbow into Chamberes's temple.
Chamberes is not content to let Mastadon control the position.
Check out the look on Mastadon's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Steel slips a nice elbow through marmeto's hands, connecting with marmeto's forehead.

Steel uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before marmeto has time to react.
Steel is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Steel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Steel has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can marmeto defend it? Steel steps over the head and cranks it - marmeto is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Steel!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

train closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - train lands in his opponent's guard.
train is stalling in the full guard.
train trying to control the position from guard on top but Junk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
train throwing strikes but missing.
train missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
train stops Junk from standing up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as train accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
train has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

train decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Junk, up you get!
Junk will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
John train seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Junk defends well against a solid takedown attempt from train.
train fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Junk tries to land a leg kick but train saw it coming and moves away.
Junk throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck train on the side of the head.
train dives in and grabs Junk's left leg, looking for a takedown. Junk pushes down on train's head and hops out.

Junk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. train tries to avoid it but Junk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag train to the ground. train escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

train is working for takedown but Junk is calmly controlling the position for now.
train drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Junk gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Junk tries to circle away but train has him pinned against the cage.
train tries to score a body lock takedown but Junk shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

train is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

train is working for a submission of some sort.
Junk is trying to control but can't.
Junk is not content to let train control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
train prevents Junk from standing back up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Junk can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Junk tries to get to full guard but train has control of the leg.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
train throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Junk is not content to let train control the position.
Junk wants to get back to his feet.

train wants to work for an arm triangle but Junk is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Junk trying to get back to full guard but train takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

and Junk counters with a slapping leg kick.

Junk lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Junk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

John train is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Junk throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fighters circle momentarily. Junk darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Junk lands with an overhand left.

train stands and steps away. Junk gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Junk connects with the punch.

train is rocked!

Junk closes the distance looking for a takedown. Junk picks train up and slams him brutally to the floor. train is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!

Pleasures lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Henry hang on?
Henry is bucking up trying to escape but Pleasures cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pleasures drops a big elbow. That's hurt Henry! More shots from Pleasures and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
